The tightest Marshall JMP ever? - Hermansson Amplification

I’ve rebuilt this amp for Fredrik Thordendal. It has a totally rebuilt preamp circuit, it has five gain stages, a tightness control, a punch control (with a three-way range switch) and a three-way mid-boost switch. There are of course some changes done to the power amp and the power supply as well to get this response out of the amp.
I'm not using any pedals, guitar straight into the amp using the volume on the guitar for clean sounds. No post EQ or compression.
Guitar: Hagström Swede.
Cab: Malmberg 4x12 with old Greenbacks.
Mics: Golden Age R1 MkIII, Tascam DR-40

No, not at all! I’ve just rolled back the volume on the neck pickup, it’s the dynamic response of circuit I’ve built in the amp making this possible. I’m just switching between neck pickup and bridge pickup on my guitar.

Jason Bo Bason, I don’t have a schematic page. Rebuilding amps is how I put food on the table for my family, so I don’t want to give away my schematics. I suggest you watch some videos where someone explain tube circuits.

You can get this tone by simply using a good OD pedal with a 2203. A lot cheaper and no need to mess with a vintage amp!
