Embark On An Unforgettable Journey With The Emerson Zooline Railroad At The St. Louis Zoo!

In September of 2023, we were in the St. Louis area and stopped at the St. Louis Zoo - a beautiful zoo if you have a chance to visit. While we enjoyed the grounds, we also filmed a little video of the grand scale railroad which operates as a shuttle around the zoo. I’m gonna miss the original CP Huntington locomotives when they’re all replaced with those new electric CP Huntington locomotives I truly prefer the original engines with their distinctive three pipe chime whistles

Yeah, we had a good stay. We were en route to a family wedding in Macon and laid over a few days in Kirkwood.

There is another railroad not to far from St. Louis called the Webash frisco and pacific railroad

This is one of the biggest railroads powered by CP Huntington trains from Chance Rides. All gas trains will eventually be replaced with electric trains like the #50.

I been to some zoos the steam locomotives are only 4-2-0 they make them look a little weird. If I Designed a locomotive it will be a 4-4-0.

The first engine ever built by this company operated at a Kansas amusement park until it shut down in 2006. It is now in the hands of a private owner.

Unfortunately it’s the only engine made by this company now. They discontinued making gas engines not too long after the first electric engine came out.
