Hi Tony, loved the video. That little dab of water in the sink was a great way to show us the movement of the ship. Thank you for all you do!

It's amazing to see you not affected by motion sickness. Very cool. Not to mention that you were probably one of the tallest persons on the ship.

Great video. On my very first cruise, we tried to outrun a hurricane. It took us an extra 24 hours to get to our destination and we must have had 18 hours of gale force winds and 30' seas. It was crazy but quite the adventure. People were sick and people were falling over left and right. Even the crew was amazed how bad the seas were. Good times! LOL Thanks, Tony!

We sailed out of that cruise terminal in March on the HAL Westerdam. It was the most efficient embarkation we've ever done. Lots of walking though as the Baoshan terminal is huge and is set up to handle two big cruise ships at a time. The smaller ships get to sail from downtown Shanghai which I understand is beautiful.

Wow - you guys had great seats for show! The singer sounded really good. I'm not sure how I'd do on a non American cruise ship. I think I would have to try and learn some of the language for common words/phrases. Sounds like your room steward spoke some English. Glad you did this cruise. Interesting learning other cultures. 👍

This is such a different video! I felt I was right there, riding the waves with you. I was watching your cabin pitch behind you as you talked right before you signed off. I loved watching this, especially since it was after the fact, and I knew you had come safely through the storm.

A good question. I don’t know really. I didn’t pay a ton of attention to that. I think the car we hired to take us to the port was a Mercedes. The cab I took from the airport was like a mini van. So a variety I suppose. - Tony

Quick question. When your passport was returned did it have a stamp from Japan? BTW when I went to China in 2019 I experienced no jetlag. The trick is to have a graveyard shift job before you leave the States! LOL My body didn't even notice that I was awake during the day.

Wow you’re fortunate that you were able to sail on this before the pandemic. Going to binge watch this now. I’m hoping you didn’t experience a typhoon! We were on Mariner of the Seas in Category 1 hurricane in Bermuda Triangle with a full moon on a Friday the 13th and lived through it. 😳

I'm one to like the more.. errr interesting weather.. I wouldn't wish it on someone that is sensitive to it, but thankfully it doesn't affect me. My very first cruise, as we headed north on the east end of Cuba we were moving around a lot.... the whole back end of the ship, and main dining room was not only up and down a lot, but kinda wag the butt from side to side a bit... boy did I sleep good that cruise.... the rocking of the ship in general... sigh.. :D

Sorry for the people who get's affected by sea sickness but personally i love rough sea then I get to make jokes with the other people on the ship e.g - I can't walk straight no more"booze" for me luckily I had a cruise this January before this "mud" storm was identified.
