But of course that’s not how it was used on telephones. It was used when you were trying to record certain keystrokes to insert a pause; so if you needed to put in a number a pause and a password and store it as a memory number that’s how it was used. I can’t think of anything else that used it back in the day.

So as I’m literally driving to Toronto, Ohio and just ab to hit the exit into town I hear charlottes voice off the iPad say the name and swerve completely. I thought I was tripping 😂 Moral of the story, don’t let your teenage niece watch Charlotte as you drive. Just watch it yourself and be less surprised 🤪

# is made of hash marks //// like tally marks just crossed. So it’s a symbol for numbers. When phones had party lines you would put in the number of rings So if my party line was number 3. The person calling me would dial #3 all the phones would ring in several houses but I would know they wanted me..... did not stop nosey neighbors from listening to your phone calls though

I mean, the whole virgin thing and the son isn’t totally stupid and idiotic. The son could have been adopted, therefore she _could_ still be a virgin Edit: I can’t believe how a simple comment like this resulted into an full argument about religion in the reply’s. I’m not even sure how this happened. I deeply apologize to those who got themselves caught up in the argument. I’m trying for a peace treaty but I can only do so much.
@nelli99493 жыл бұрын
Yes, or insemination, ivf etc is an option as well. Still it is a weird example to set for your child. I mean nothing bad in being a virgin but weird to do it as a life lesson for someone else. Please don't.

Bethlehem Eisenhour Uh....what? Sorry but I’m not catholic. Also I’m not knocking people for being virgin, I _am_ one myself and I’m proud about it. I was only aware about sexual virgin (in this case, I mean) and it _would_ be stupid and idiotic if she was talking about _that_ type of virgin if her son was biologically hers. I’m still confused about what you are talking about. Is your type of virgin from the Bible meaning that you don’t have a sexual intercourse for a long period of time and staying that way? I’m just trying to understand and please don’t be rude about my ignorance. I don’t know if you were trying to be rude, but to me, it kind of came off that way. You are forgiven, by the way. That is if you were trying to be rude. If you weren’t, than I apologize for coming to a bad conclusion on you’re reply.
Bethlehem Eisenhour If anything, you are the one who’s mocking us for not being super religious like you. Also, don’t take this the wrong way because I mean this in the nicest way possible, but you do sound like you are in a religion. You’re talking strongly about the Bible and it’s easy for anyone to mistake that for you being catholic. I guess mocking isn’t the best word to describe it but you _are_ being quite *rude*
@funtimefoxyfan83093 жыл бұрын
Bethlehem Eisenhour Do you even know what religion means? Religion: _noun_ the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods A religion is usually surrounded by god(s). Some religions have multiple gods while others (like Christianity and Catholicity) only have one god. The god you and I both choose to believe in is simply known as God. For all we know, there could only be one real god, and who’s to say that it’s our God. It could be someone else. Or maybe there are actually multiple gods and all the religions are correct. Or maybe no god actually exists and all the religions are warshiping a made up being. We truly would never know. We don’t know how much of the Bible is true either. Half those stories could be made up and we don’t even know. There’s also no way to prove otherwise. I personally like to believe in god just because I simply want to. I like to believe that there is a superior being above us and that there is both a Heaven and a Hell. Technically, god is part of a religion. Just like the gods’ of Hinduism, Islam, etc. They all have their own gods, they also have different religions. Some religions like Buddhism believe in no god (the Buddha isn’t a god). I guess everyone does have their own opinion about what a god’s purpose is. If they are their own religion or not. I personally think it’s yes but you obviously think otherwise, which is okay. I guess it just depends on the person you ask. I do hold strongly to my opinion though, that’s why I’m still sharing it.
