Embarrassing Things I Didn't Know About The BMW M4 Before I Bought One

Welcome back to the channel ladies and gentleman! Today we go through the most embarrassing tips, tricks and features I didn't know existed before I bought a BMW M4 F82. Coming from a 2002 BMW E39 M5, it's safe to say I am no where near up to speed with the technological advancements that are included in the new features of the newest generation of BMW. After owning my used BMW M4 F82 for over nearly a year, I have found a handful of features that you guys and gals will definitely appreciate. In other words, here are some things to know before buying a BMW M4 F82, or any modern BMW for that matter. Enjoy!

You can move the springs on each side of the trunk so it automatically opens all the way up. Looks like yours is on the 1st so it doesn’t prop up. It’s a quick DIY

Not all the M4s have that cubby box next to the steering wheel...I think its part of the executive package? My 2020 doesn't have it. I ended buying the weathertech cupphone holder, works great!

You can adjust the springs so the trunk lifts with the added weight of the spoiler.

Question for all you M4 owners! I have a 2019 M4 competition automatic with 23,000 miles. O now noticed a loud tapping sound on the passenger side. Not the ticking sound a tapping sound. Reading a lot of different forums some said it the lifters, some said it's normal, some said they had the engine replaced and the noise gone, dome said they had the lifters changed and the noise gone. 3 dealers told me it's normal but I think they crazy! I can't believe that a $80,000 car sounds a diesel truck engine. Do you have that tapping sound on you car. I watched a lot of your videos and wanted your input?

Greetings from Germany, I drive the same car with exactly the specs except the small spoiler and stock m performance exhaust. Btw your car can drive 295 kilometres per hour. Just in case you have ever wondered.

The M4 gts makes 493 horsepower and has water injection so I don’t think you have the same “tune”. Dope video though

You can use the e-brake area to set your phone - that's what I did in my F30. It's perfect because it doesn't slide off, keeps it upright, and easy access.

Things You Dont Know About The M4 You Cant Turn off The Traktioncontroll the Car Says Yea its Off But it is not it has still some of it left just in case you need it BMW does this since the E60 but there is a way to turn it completly off Hope You Doing well

@Justen G bold looks always split opinion. I’d rather that than just tweaking a headlight here n there. That’s why. Anyway, there are a significant number of BMW fans who love it, another significant proportion on whom it has grown, and the rest still don’t like it. Each to their own, like I said it’s subjective anyway as far as looks go. The previous generation just looks very dated now, and the interior looks antique. But if you still like it then good for you.
