Thanks for stopping by. Tackling the rerecorded 2024 version of ETI. Love the added melodies in the chorus. I used the Bogren Trivium signature Ampknob plugins for the tones on the rhythm guitars and main leads (layered leads on the chorus with my own gear)

@@curtiswardley6312 Really? Rhythm seems to be really flabby for me, not tight at all. I have MKH Origins through to Focusrite 3d Gen, Reaper, I don't know why this plugin doesn't sound good to my gear. Do you use anth else to your signal?

Maybe this is just me, but I personally like the version that they did back in 2011 when In Waves was releashed and they played a bunch of the songs live. Maybe because the original probably wasn't recorded to a meterone, it sounds faster and more unpredictable. I'm not saying that it's bad, but it does sound slower and more controled than the original. What do you think?

Same here. I actually even prefer the original version from back in the day, the vocals and even the way the song is played sounds better to me

@@shinobymaster To be fair, Matt's early vocals are very rough on the ear. It's until I nWaves is where I think he mastered vocals for Trivium's music.

Maybe it's the only guitar he has that it is in A# Standard, which from the 1th to 6 strings is basically Eb Standard.
