Shogun - Trivium guitar cover (All guitar parts) | Epiphone MKH Les Paul & Dean MKH

This was a big one, I planned to have it out 2 months ago but I kind of exhausted myself mentally trying to manage of the stuff going on in this track as putting these videos together is already a task, plus some frustrations with working the camera (the main rhythm guitars shot as a really high exposure again for some reason and I nearly scrapped everything and fiddled with adjusting the colour to make it not so blinding bright. Upon numerous remixes I finally found something I’m happy to show t you. The way some of the parts are played live is different to how they were recorded and I tried to showcase both ways where possible. Specifically the verse sections where Matt plays octave chords over the main rhythm riff. He has stated in a tutorial that there's a lot of layering in that section and plays a simpler version of it live. The first verse showcases my recreation of those layered parts (0:57 - 1:10) and the second verse has the way Matt plays it live (2:08-2:22) Cheers for checking it out I hope I did this epic track justice and the Trivium boys dig it if they ever stumble upon it. Ok king, I see you with the 15 year anniversary big boy track. Love it. The last solo Matt plays is by far my favorite in all of trivium. It’s so simple yet fast and in your face. Time off well deserved for sure. But the biggest question no one is asking here, where’s the hair tutorial and vocal covers!? Any thoughts on picking up a new MKH? Nothing against the old one!
