Thing is with the cost if (and they do get lost) too replace it then the pocket will be hurting a lot...What ever you use if you hit bone neck/legs the edge comes off. I use a tripe knife and sheer the ribs in one go along the brisket on fallow... Enjoying your channel

If you contact Emberleaf, and commission a knife, you can ask for it to made with only a micro bevel, the choice is open to whatever the clients specifications are.

100% agree. I didn’t ask for it with a micro bevel because I didn’t know what the original edge would be like!

They look very nice but,what’s the point to have a £450.00 and you have to sharpen a new edge on it? Honest review 👍

Fair comment - the edge didn’t suit me, but it didn’t take very long to put a different edge on it and thanks to the quality of the metal it holds that edge like nothing else! I’m sure the ‘factory’ edge will suit someone else though.

You can ask Emberleaf to make the Cael with a with a micro bevel instead of a scandi, depending on the persons preferred specs.

@@TheDeercast not as 'pretty' as the Emberleaf although I did just opt for the plain orange handle but its a proper solid workhorse and I love it..Got the Fallow Stalker. I'll look forward to hearing what you think. 👍
