Hank was a blast in this! I think you need to get Hank back, then team him up with Blake for an epic GCN, GMBN & EMBN session!

So can Roadies ride EMTB ? Absolutely. I think Hank was brilliant and learned really quickly. There is still work to do on his helmet choice though :-D

I mean… I think it’s about time the PlaySports Network had a multi-discipline presenter. Hank’s a good candidate (e-MTB, MTB, Road).

to be fair, on GCN Hank has demonstrated that he is more than willing to put his body on the line (esp his perineum). So it wasn't too surprising to see him rise to this challenge. I'm still a big skipping rope about any offroad doings though.

Nice video and big props to Hank for the progression. But seriously, give him some protection, what's the point of doing this without some pads? It just sends the wrong message, I've seen several videos on embn or gmbn about the benefits of protection and when to use it, and a bike park seems like a place to always wear it. Especially when you're a novice. Ollie had fullface and pads when he rode trails with Blake on gmbn. Despite that, super video. More of these crossovers, we need more Hank offroad 😎🤟

Hank isn't a normal roadie though is he. Never mind the experience he's already had riding MTB with GMBN that's not what I mean. He's nuts, basically fearless and never ever refuses a challenge no matter how hard. Mind you his understanding of MTB and especially the way suspension works has improved loads. Either you told him what to say, and I don't think you did or he's really getting his head around the way full suspension reacts when hitting ramps etc.

Shows again that Emtbs are not for racing just Fun Fun Fun. To me racing is a form of ego shuffling with more disappointment than joy. The magic of Emtbs is they turn us into gleeful kids again and broaden our ability to explore terrain multiplying the benefits of one of mans greatest gravity cheating inventions the bicycle. It's not one or the other but having both naturally aspirated bikes and Emtbs to enhance the pleasure of cycling. E=Mtb²

Spds on an emtb are completely pointless
@nicolapellegrino1072
@nicolapellegrino1072 3 жыл бұрын
That's wrong.. lots of pros use them (Nico Voullilloz for example) with clipless you have absolute control on cadence and pedal stroke, the control is all the way better than on flat pedals.
@Wargwarn
@Wargwarn 3 жыл бұрын
@@nicolapellegrino1072 it's an ebike, you have a motor 🤦🏼
@nicolapellegrino1072
@nicolapellegrino1072 3 жыл бұрын
@@Wargwarn lol you have a motor, and you don't have to pedal? Of course you do... maybe you don't know what are talking about. Instead of saying that spd are pointless simply try to understand why are used and what are the benefits using that kind of pedals, the fact ebikes have a motor simply doesn't mean the clipless are not useful... don't like them? Don't use them simply as that.
@Wargwarn
@Wargwarn 3 жыл бұрын
@@nicolapellegrino1072 clearly you don't know what you are talking about. The benefits of spds on a normal bike are completely irrelevant on an ebike, the motor makes up for it. Think about it... Or do I have to spell it out for you?
@nicolapellegrino1072
@nicolapellegrino1072 3 жыл бұрын
@@Wargwarn clearly I ride bikes from thirty years, ebikes from four and I don't know what I'm talking about... surely you've come to teach me how to use spd which I use from twenty years at least and saying that are "useless" on ebikes... no they aren't, you maybe think they are but as I already said the control with clipless is all the way better (for those who prefer that type of pedal) than flat saying that are "useless" means "ignorance". (There's always someone that has different opinions.. it doesn't mean you're right... try to respect and maybe think about about your ideas they maybe not right as you can think)
