This is awesome! I love the techniques you showed even if it's an oldie but goodie. I'm very glad to know about the splatter with water to get the embossing powder to stick in a splatter pattern. I don't remember seeing it before. You always amaze and delight me with your videos. I'm still catching up, I ordered the dies, of course. I can't wait to try this with a Christmas tree.

Those are so pretty. I used to make Christmas ornaments out of Burr Oak acorns. They are huge! Anyway, I experimented with a great deal of metallic paints and thick embossing products. It's fun to melt some of the ultra thick embossing powders and do imoressioms of stamps in them. I bet you could use dies as well

I've seen the technique of using the impression of the cutting die before, but I've never seen it done with the versamark ink & embossing powder. What wonderful results! I really love the way you painted the leaves, as well. I am in love with the Pretty Pink Posh dies you used, but I just can't buy anything right now. I do plan on borrowing this technique, however, and use items I already own. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Jennifer! I really enjoyed this oldie but a goodie video of techniques and tips. I especially liked the embossing trick with the water flicking into the water color paper. Is it possible to do that with water an ink color and clear embossing powder to achieve a colored splatter? I have only a small selection of powders and more colors of ink pads. Thank you so much for always bringing us the best ideas, tips and techniques. I appreciate you and your talents so much. Thank you again.

Lots of companies make "stitched-leaves dies." Cricut has a set very similar to this. I just bought it a few days ago. Gina K just came out with a stitched-leaves mini-kit. Lawn Fawn has multiple sets available through Simon Says Stamp.
