I am retired and on a fixed income now. I recently discovered the thrill of card making and you. While I admire and respect your creative abilities and enjoy your videos, I am disgusted with the price of many of the products you showcase. Is it any wonder why many of us purchase these same/similar items from China. Half an ounce of Ranger Multi Medium Glue is ridiculously priced. One tablespoon of Lucy's gemstones $$$$$. I wish you would showcase some of these less expensive products in a video to assist us fixed income folks stay on our budgets. You could save some money, too. I am grateful for you and your videos. Thank you, Jennifer.

You have no idea how much I appreciate this video!! I have been obsessing over how to get the letterpress look without investing in additional machinery and all the dies, ink, paper, etc. Using the back of the die for the impression is genius! Thank you so, so much, Jennifer. 😊

My Anna Griffin die cutting machine was really difficult to use--I was getting pulled muscles in my back and the handle would wind up so tight it would spring back and badly wound my hands. It broke the other day so I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a Gemini and I love love love it!! It cuts through all thickness of cardstock, glitter paper etc with one pass even on very very intricate dies like the doily dies. I wish I had bought this when it first came out it would have saved me an immense amount of time and pain. Some dies the Cuddlebug wouldn't cut with ten passes and if it finally did it chewed it up----thumbs down to that machine. I also bought the Sidekick and what a wonderful little machine it is---it even cuts better than the Cuddlebug and is so handy for smaller dies and so easy to use. Love your videos as I always learn something new!! Thanks!!

Beautiful cards Jennifer and a pretty cool technique! Decisions, decisions....what's a girl to do LOL! I had ordered the Sizzix Big Shot Express from Amazon Canada but as it was out of stock it would have been filled once back in (as it is paid for). After watching this video moments ago, I went ahead and canceled it so that I can do my due diligence on the Gemini. I have arthritic hands and since I began my card making journey about 3 years ago, they have gotten a lot worse to the point that I either had to give up this passion of mine or get an electric machine. All I can say is that was one dilemma that I didn't have to think too long about LOL! Thanks so much for sharing Jennifer and for all the inspiration you have given me over these last few years. It was you, my dear, that got me started in this craft (yep, just browsing YT one day) so you see, I will forever be grateful to you! Gentle hugz, Nancy

Jennifer, I simply love how you present your ideas together with the products that are keeping your channel alive without that dreaded "I can't do it if I don't have all the stuff" feeling. Since I'm overseas, I may buy a product you are using, but not likely from any of your recommended sources - but I never skip the ad video that comes up from KZbin, hoping to contribute a little bit. And I tell you, Patience is not my middle name. I am using a Joy! Trouvaille which I chose at the time because it could do (European) A4 size (roughly 8.25x11.8"). I have to admit though that the combinations of plates you can achieve is not very satisfactory. I am now venturing out into using plates made for other machines with the trouvaille (or happycut, as I believe it is called in the UK). Any experience out there? Jennifer, thanks for all your inspiration! Happy thoughts from Stef in Germany

Wow so very cool! Thanks for sharing. Great technic, beautiful papers, can’t wait to try this! I have the e-Bosser by Crafter’s Companion, and been using it for several years now. Jennifer, I'm so glad you found the Gemimi. I've had mine since last summer when Sara brought it to the US. I also have her very intricate dies and her stamps. The machine is definitely powerful and she has just made the Gemini Junior which is about the same thing, just a smaller footprint. I love your technique and have dies I can try it with. If you're familiar with the Gemini then you might know about her cardstock she just released. It's all the colors you showed in glitter, and there is also a mirror and matte finish. All her papers are extra thick cardstock. BIG HUGS TO LILA and Happy Weekend to you and your family! HUGS...Jonie

When cutting intricate dies with the Big Shot, it is so much easier to just purchase the intricate die plate that they make for that purpose. Makes cutting those dies so easy. No shims or tape required. The plate replaces the bottom cutting pad. They also make a separate magnetic plate so you no longer need to tape dies down. Love your cards! Also HSN.com runs a great purchase package on the Gemini machine. It is a popular machine though and will sometimes sell out but they are pretty quick to replenish. Plus, you can pay in installments (4 or 5) I think.
