It’s a great wrap-up to the series. Fortunately this movie made an absolutely insane amount of money (Look it up!) so they made a second movie, which I actually believe is the better send-off for these characters.

Nah. Like you said the first movie was a great wrap up for the characters. They all get over their insecurities and become popular for a short time. The second movie was a cash grab to capitalize on the success of the first. It wasn't even funny. The only memorable scene people remember is the waterslide scene and even then it was a bit too cartoony and American for my taste.

Great to see Tony Head (famous of course as the iconic Giles The Watcher in Buffy The Vampire Slayer) as Will's father, and of course real life father of Emily Head who plays Carly here in The Inbetweeners. A lot of sitcoms don't transfer the the big screen, but they actually do quite a good job with this one. Some excellent gross out moments, and some side splitting comedy as well. We feel a great sense of satisfaction when the lads eventually pull after all the disappointments of the their teenage years before. Not a bad movie all in all, the Second One isn't bad either.

Their apartment reminds me of the place me and my friends had in Spain when we were 18. I have also been on that coach trip from Heraklion Airport through Malia which is where this is supposed to be. On the way back the tour reps struggle to get the younger ones out of the bars. We now get a taxi.

I went to Magaluf with 3 of my mates to live the holiday these lads had.. but even better got laid twice! 😂😂 Even went to the bench and had a sit down which will and Simon sat on & also sat on the bench jay kicked when him and Simon had the ‘ fight ‘ my hotel was also right on the hill they walked down at the start of the movie going to the strip.. Cooks Club, Calvia beach. I loved every minute of it ❤

We have this thing in Australia called schoolies. Essentially in the 2000s every 16/17/18 year old flocks to the Gold Coast and gets blind drunk and the police are everywhere but they give you space to have a week to party. It was fucking wild, people died falling of balconies etc. So much fun though. Lots of bad sex, throwing up in a toilet, a fight or four, great parties and hazy memories.

So 3 of those girls went and made a female Inbetweeners series called Drifters. It's not AS good, but they did alright. The girl with Neil in this is a writer producer. (The other 2 were Jane, the big one, and the blonde at the start with Neil)

Perhaps a fun fact, jays penis in this scene is not his own, he originally agreed to show his own but backed out and really annoyed the director or whoever, who then had to spend money finding a penis model lol, the model was nominated for the role by his own grandmother as well, or mother i forget, it's explained in the Inbetweeners reunion.

They really don’t it was painfully bad. As an example, the scene in Ep where Will throws a Frisbee at a park for the girls to catch and it hits a disabled girl is replaced by a scene of him throwing a football at school for no apparent reason and it hits a boy on crutches. The first is funny on so many levels, the second, I’ve no idea why they thought it was still funny.

The Inbetweeners was probably the last non woke comedy program in the U.K. it took this absolute piss out of everyone and everything. You should watch Only Fools and Horses and Carry On films as well. British humour is pessimistic and the main characters never really win. If they do win they lose it, all again somehow and end up back where they first started. Dont forget The Inbetweeners 2 as well lads.
