The last British band to define a generation, the cultural impact they had on people in the 90s can't be underestimated. I was there guys, only about 20 miles from my house :) T in the Park was an annual festival featuring many bands, this isn't an Oasis only gig.
@nicholassharp50944 ай бұрын
I was there with my friends from school. We went to T in the park every year, it was a gathering of the youth of the whole of Scotland. As big music fans it was great to see all these great bands in one place who rarely come to our home city of Aberdeen. This year was the best with the best headline set. They played on the Saturday. I thought Liam’s Jacket was cool AF and spend most of the Sunday looking round the army surplus’s stands for one like it. Found one and put loads of pin badges oasis, Beatles, the pistols etc on the pocket. The following year was the worst of my life, and went into a deep depression that I nearly didn’t emerge from. I completely stopped going out or socialising. A mate was playing his first gig with his band at a local pub so I decided to go to support him. I cranked some oasis on my stereo, donned my camouflage jacket and forced myself to go out. I swaggered in Liam Gallagher style and a girl saw me and thought I looked cool AF. We got talking and hit it off spending a wonderful evening together. 3 years later we got married and my life has been wonderful since then.

As per usual though, the studio version is superior as a polished finished product, but it was brilliant on the Heathen Chemistry tour to hear alongside Go Let It Out, Hello (my personal favourite) and Morning Glory. Even today I don't believe that they've done a better show, although their Don't Believe The Truth tour (saw them at the MK Bowl) was a bloody good set as well ;)
