EKWB is a foreign entity . The USA Protects whistleblowers with the Whistleblower Protection Act. However if i was that person , I'd still hire an attorney . NDA or not . Retaliation is illegal under US Federal Law and its in the same code prohibiting Discrimination by Employers. That person is gonna have a lawsuit of lifetime and probably guaranteed never will have to work again in their lives especial if it goes to court . EKWB can't fight us law.

Me being an employee and knowing basically all other employees of EKWB, I can tell you, every employee was payed on time... always. I got over 150 salaries from EK , and not 1 was ever late, so please don't worry about ppl of EK... everyone is and was payed.

IMO the employees at EKCS probably misunderstood/overestimated their place in the food-chain...

As an outside contractor for EK, I can say that I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times the payment was late for more than a couple days. I've been working for EK for over 6 years and have nothing but good experience in terms of dealing with the company as a client/employer. When my mom died due to being hit by a drunk driver, Edi himself called me and said take all the time you need, everything is paid. Nobody asked me anything apart from, do you need anything, or is there a way to help you, for weeks while I was grieving. The current head of my division said, I know I can't help with the pain, but at least take this bonus to help with the funeral. Over my 6 years of working for EK, I've had Edi respond to me at odd hours (midnight and later sometimes) for stuff that I wanted handled ASAP and needed permission, and listened to my suggestions regarding products, processes, ideas, and more. And on many occasions it was made clear to me that my extra work is appreciated, both by financial compensation and warm words. Before EK, I worked as a web developer for about 5-6 years and was a hardware reviewer on the side. I went into water cooling because I loved PCs, PC hardware, and cooling. I had other options, and still do, but not once did I think of leaving the company because of how well they treated me during all these years. When a company is in a bit of a crisis due to inflation, bad market conditions, and more, for me it's normal to have a bit of understanding. This is just my 2 cents and my 6-year-long experience working for EK.

The only reason they're "fixing" things is because they're criminally exposed. A lot of white collar criminals run otherwise legitimate businesses as a way to conceal their fraudulent activities. I do not want to see EKWB succeed. At best, they are unethical. At worst, this guy and perhaps others will spend some time behind bars. The company no longer deserves to exist. Words are cheap. Unpaid invoices and employee salaries are expensive. They lied and said they have the money- that it's just "tied up" in inventory and stock. Considering that sales are down and the company's valuation is now in the toilet, we know this is false. It's one lie after the next. I don't see a redemption arc here. This is EXACTLY what it looks like when white collar criminals enter the damage control phase of their dishonest enterprise.

I too love their products, and to touch on their quality slipping lately, it's obvious it's the direct result of the outgoing CEO. Normally EK is top notch, so it's upsetting to say the least. Hopefully with this we'll get some really nice products, and maybe they'll cut some cost and bring the prices down to be more competitive and gain some market from Corsair. Corsair is 100x worse then EK as to quality is concerned, I've had to warranty 3 Corsair AIOs in 3 months, my EK and Arctic AIOs are fine...

I still hope they can come back to their old ways and improve to become industry standard again. But right now, QC and pricing are absolutely real issues with their products!

@@TECHOSAUREK quality isn’t good. 2015 I had two radiators supplied with screws pushing into the tanks and the replacements had the exact same problem! In both cases leaks started a week after install. 2021 I purchased an EK block for my EVGA FTW3 3080 and the EK block bricked it three times. EK advised me what to do each time. Switched to Heatkiller for my 4090. Never again with EK, they’re a hot mess.

10 years ago, I purchased my first EKWB 360 Extreme Kit and the system is still running. The beginning of April I started a new build, centered around an i9 14900KF and an ASUS Strix ROG RTX 4090 OC. I also chose a glass see through case with the hopes of creating not only a powerful system but a work of art. I purchased all water cooling components separately and started with the S360-X flow and the P360-X Flow with the EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE 160 DC pump-res combo. EK-Quantum Velocity2 for the CPU and EK-quantum vector 2/ABP for the GPU. EK 16mm Hard Tubing with all EK-Torque Kinckle fittings. This is the most beautiful PC i have ever seen. I love EKWBL!!!

Your parts have yet to fail me and I still have in possession many of my old parts. I have long believed in the reliability of the company as in my experience, that quality has been great and consistent. Shipping fast (to US from Europe) and parts have proven great in reliability. Please, do not falter to poor management. I am deeply saddened as a long time customer to hear of these events of poor business practice. Please do right by everyone. Right your ship and work towards repairing/rebuilding relationships and PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES. We paying customers spend a lot of money on EKWB parts. Pay your debts and your people.

I have a similar experience, but a bit different. I'm an employee of EK for over 10 years and never had any issues with it. I always got salary on time and for small problems, Edi was always there to help if needed. For bigger ones, he was even faster to help. I genuinely hope the company is able to correct itself. The news recently has been pretty shocking to say the least. But, it sounds like that's why you were brought back on. I sincerely hope that the new EK's direction will be superior and more cost-effective for the consumer... I prefer not to invest more in a cooling system than the computer's hardware itself. (Not that I can't afford it, but it's simply ridiculous what the cooling accessories have become to)

This felt very genuine, I could feel the passion while he was talking, he's not happy with how the company has been handled so he stepped in. Hopefully he's able to turn the ship around, it'd be a shame to have probably the best water cooling company to go down for the actions of a lousy few. Having a Nucleus AIO and getting some of the best benchmarks on my system using it, I really hope this isn't the end of EK. I'm waiting for the Direct-Die AIO to come out, but keeps getting pushed back, again and again. Thank you for addressing this publicly and offering solutions rather than excuses. @@svn5994 yes, in my OPINION because I've never had an issue with their AIOs but yet I've sent 3 into Corsair for warranty. So yeah, in MY experience they're probably the best performing and quality too, their packaging is beautiful, it's clear this company has passion and management has soured that reputation. Sorry you think their overpriced, and sorry Acrylic is so fragile it's prone to cracking, not just EK. Hope you find a solution.

I absolutely can believe that after such a random video from the CEO, promising some random (even nonactionable) crap will resolve the issues. All my faith came back with EKWB. Oh wait, it didn't... has anyone resigned from the management yet? I bet "Resolving any outstanding overtime work issues of EK employees" means even more threatening, suing, legal battles to come. Way to go guys!

Im glad you guys put out a quick response and I hope that it bears fruit. As a customer who has spent over 600 dollars on products from you guys with amazing customer service and quality, I hope that these internal issues are resolved, as your product is amazing. I hope that the contractors and employees impacted are fairly compensated and that things get back to normal, as the teams that are building and creating these products are truly fantastic and I want to support that vision as long as the company does as well.

As a ekwb and alphacool customer I have trusted these 2 brands for the last 10+ years. I hope the words turn into actions and they are true to this statement, it will take time to trust in ekwb products since of the lately amount of complaints. The cost of the components they supplied were usual of the highest quality and they have fallen from grace. I hope they return with even higher tier class and quality.

I really don't understand how this possible, all EK products get super overpriced last years, there is no company out there who asked so high money for last water blocks.. but even this, everyone I know who is in Watercooling, still buying EK products, same I do.. I can't believe that there was money shortage sorry.. but even this, its still nice that EK admitted the problem.. not like Asus did or corsair did.. thats a good sign.. well we will see.. very sad, I loved EK quality products, would be sad that a a water-cooling giant like EK would be missing on this market..

I was disappointed to see the recent published information about the treatment of employees, the supposedly hostile communication going on within the EKWB company and the high lack of moral it all reflects. As EKWB products are in the high-end category, so is the pricing of them. I have saved up money over a longer period of time now in order to buy a specific cooling system that I've had my eye out for but now feel that if I went and purchased it at this point, I would also be supporting this entire bad company behavior, which is not something that I would like to do in any way! So as others has stated in the comments: Actions apeaks louder than words! I sincerely hope that the necessary actions needed within the company will be taken, sooner rather than later! As well as I also hope for some more public statements along the process about what has been done, to ensure that trust between the community/costumers and the EKWB company can be reinstated in the future, and also to ensure that the feeling of disgust by currently purchasing an EKWB product, will not have to be felt by me or by anyone.

It shouldn't take various media outlets to make this happen. This video, for me is about damage limitation and EK have tarnished a good few relationships in the industry. From a personal viewpoint, the EK products have for a while lacked performance and QC issues, all the while charging a premium for an aesthetically pleasing product. Custom watercooling is a niche market, and imo, view the costs involved is becoming an ever increasing one. I've since refocused my watercooling on buying products form watercool, and alphacool and even Byksi. All of these companies are offering cheaper products and in many cases, better performing ones too. I hope EK can salvage their reputation, and hopefully going forward can start producing products that not that long ago were performance leaders.
