that was a very brave move! yes, its always good to see outsiders trying to inculcate local culture. but i must admit that i am a Keralite by birth but was brought up in UP and so when i came to kerala i didnt know how to wear the lungi. i still dont wear it to go outside. the 2nd fold keeps falling off! infact once i remember when i was in my early teens and i had gone to a nearby shop on my bicycle to buy some stuff and i 'bravely' chose to wear my lungi (i wore it at home). but on my way back, i was holding the bag in one hand and holding the handle with the other and i realised that my first fold had come off and would fall off any moment. i panicked because i wasnt wearing anything inside (home mode) and if i stopped the cycle, i would have had to stretch my leg down to the road to stand and i was afraid my lungi would come off completely before i could put the bag down and hold it, exposing me infront of so many people on that main road. Then i saw an electric post and i balanced the cycle with my leg on the pole and managed to tuck both folds tightly in (u cant cycle without the 2nd fold). Since then i wasnt as brave!! :-p :-D

It's very easy to get used to the friendly, open minded, hospital people of South India, but when you come back to Europe after 3 months it's very hard to get used to the people here. In India you meet more interesting people in one DAY as in Germany in 20 years. Very, very sad ! And they call this civilisation ;) Namaste from Germany

O indiano regressou a casa ontem pois acaabou o contrato dele cá. Ele sempre falava da cidade dele e do estado dele, então fui pesquisar no youtube porque quando falam da Índia, até franzo o nariz mas parece que tem mais beleza e mais pra fazer do que pensava.
