@@AnilKumar-iv2pr My dear I don't say ignore English totally unfortunately its international language .it should be 4th subject on syllabus .But when I see English medium scholl on Indian subcontinent its very shameful and funny .I live in Arab country I see most of worker from India specially Kerala ,very few of them lives with family here but most of them are day labour with very less opportunity without family here .I think 70 % Kerala people works in Gulf countries decades after decades without family .I see on the street ,Kerala child speak English with another Kerala child ,some of them don't know their own language what is their future except a cheap staff in gulf or Europe .Look how Japan Korean economics they don't learn English

I'm neither a Malayalee nor from India. But it's a well known fact that Kerala has one of ,if not, the highest literacy rate in all of India. Many are multilingual which is great:) Also, just a friendly advice, Stew. If possible try not to speak to a girl or woman on the streets when she is alone. It's okay if they're in a group, otherwise, avoid it, especially with the really young girls. For your own safety in case anyone thinks your intention is bad and also for the girl's safety. Some village dude might report to her parents that she was talking to some guy and she might get into trouble at home. Just giving u these insights, no offense pls.Cheers!
