I loved my whole life math and I always was excellent at math. I loved math so much, that I spend much time with my very little sister trying to teach her numbers and math, always trying to share my enthusiasm with her. Tried to make her to feel the same what I felt. This was 30 years ago. She studied math, got an excellent diploma and is a professional mathematician now.

this is cool! i was somebody who as a kid was on paper good at math but had such high anxiety about it i struggled to enjoy it. that is, until i picked it up at my own pace as an adult! its been nice to 'reclaim' the subject that brought me the most stress as a kid haha

Hey I enjoyed the video and feel the topic was handled really well. One thing I would like to point out is the phrasing at 2:26, namely "girls in particular tend to internalise...". I feel the wording here unintentionally implies that girls are taking on this opinion more than a boy, rather than the fact that this opinion is more aggressively pushed onto girls. Another phrasing could've been " is applied to girls in particular, causing...". Looking forward to seeing more from this channel

When I was in school I remembered suffering in math class and everyone (specially the teacher) harassed me for this but now I might have and idea of why I'm utter garbage at math! Great video guys

Great video! I personally love maths and am good at them, as I got taught about it by my mom at a very young age, and I often see other people struggle with math. I hope y'all get better at maths soon while I'll just continue to struggle with German and history, lol

true, it is just receding numbers as a kid. doing subtraction was such an odd concept that went over my head. it made no damn sense for a long time
