Mr Eric is not here to impress anyone to gain fans or followers, he is just here to state his ideas and be right! Great.

"15 to 20 ft" Oddly enough, you're almost close to my entire downstairs dimensions lol. I like these videos. It gives me ideas. Thanks for them!

Narrow home with the possibility of wings or expansion later--lovely!

Narrow houses do have nice advantages for almost everything except thermal control, and materials costs. They have more exterior surface area for the square footage of interior space enclosed. In mild climates they are great. Hey, what's the first house in the video, the one in the desert. It looks like Tucson, or Phoenix.

Do you have any disadvantages? It would be a good chance to talk about ways to address them, such as the conditioned connectors I saw in another one of your previous videos.

Indeed there are disadvantages like the higher ratio of circulation per given floor area (halls/stairs consume more floor space) and others. Would be an interesting topic for a follow-up vid...thanks for watching...cheers...!

Hi Eric, great videos. Do you know the name or architect of the 2nd home in the video? It's the cabin style home on the lake.

Except that if you are in an urban lot, fire code could greatly limit your opening allowance on side facades

A home that s TWO rooms wide is perfect, both wth their narrower sides side-by-side.

If two rooms have long sides, and short sides, and they are placed next to each with each of their short sides touching each other, they would not be "two rooms wide", they would be two rooms long.

That first chair looks like a hammerhead. I hate to see it sitting in direct sun though
