This year for fall I've only used dried hydrangeas and other greenery/branches from my property. I've never tried spray paint on my old florals, but I may give it a go for Christmas this year when some things on the property are more bare. Thanks as always for the inspiration! I feel like being resourceful helps my anxiety full circle. I work to keep things pretty and happy in spring and summer, and they provide for me even as they enter their dormant season. It also reminds me I sometimes need times of dormancy as well to be my best version of myself. Beautiful video as usual. Love and hugs to you! ❤❤

I am so thankful for you & that this gave you some validation & inspiration! I am right there with you with needing to remind myself of my own cyclical nature. I currently am reading In the Flo by Alisa Vitti trying to learn about cycle syncing as a way to continue to heal from within & its so humbling to see how much we push ourselves as women when we shouldn't be. I love how we can learn so much from the changing of seasons when it comes to our own health and happiness. 💖

@@KatieLennon-h9y I know right?! It’s like a whole different kind of stem! 😍🥰 I have so many old faux stems that it feels rejuvenating to know I can just paint them! That would be amazing if you could grow some hydrangeas!! What zone are you in Colorado!?

I'm so excited that I found your channel. My style is the same as yours. I also have the wood cabinets similar to yours and because my husband says we spent way too much money having them built (in 2004) that he'd hate to have them painted (I'm hoping on one day wood cabinets will be back in style). My floors match my cabinets and I am trying to talk him into lighter floors (which he's not wanting because "he put the floors down himself). I also have antique furniture pieces that were passed down to us and don't want to paint knowing my MIL spent so much times taking old paint off when she had them. SO I am learning to love much style as it is and being grateful for what we have even though It's different from the current style everyone else has. Thank you.

It is so nice to hear of all our similarities & I couldn't relate more - I too fall guilty even still with paying attention to the trends, but I really believe being true to yourself & what speaks to you & your own personal style will never "go out of style" (in my opinion 🥰)!
