Be sure to do a test stitch out on similar or the same fabric! This was one of the tougher things I've tried to embroider.

Hi, I bought the PE design 10 software which cost me very little on eBay, then I needed Winrar to open it. It works perfectly well, probably doesn't have all of the bells and whistles that the latest software has, but I'm only a beginner and am learning, so I don't mind and it's a much cheaper way to get started! PE design 11 costs a lot more but it's basically the same software.

Hi, I have the brother 800 but my projects are coming wrong . The back looks better than the fron, do you have any idea why is this happening?

Is there a way to make the machine go over a spot that needs to be re-done? Or is it a complete loss everytime the thread gets stuck?

On the LCD screen there is a needle with a -/+ symbol which allows you to go back or forward with the stitches. Increments of single, tens, hundreds, last thread color, or beginning of entire design.

Do you use the larger accessory hoops sold separately?

Use the smallest hoop that will fit the design. So don’t do a 3 x3 inch design in a 6x10 inch hoop. You will get much better tension control in the right sized hoop.

Any tips on preventing small detail areas from getting knotted on underside of fabric? Do I need thicker stabilizer? (Using brother pe800).

There are some great resources out there on the proper stabilizer. I believe OESD has videos. And so does Floriani. Sometimes you may need to slow your machine down a little bit. And always make sure you are using the proper needle type and size for the fabric and thread you are using.
