I love my collection of Japanese Embroidery books and I am also very fond of the retro ones from the 60s and 70s. Thank you for introducing me to Tilleke Schwartz and I am going to order her book now! Apparently she has also written a book titled “Mark Making” but it is out of print.

The Japanese embroidery books are just so inspiring, aren't' they? I only have a few embroidery books from the 60s and 70s, but they are inspiring to look through. I think the Mark Making book may be available from her website if you are really keen. :-)
