I can't stand these people that set their mic to have the lowest possible sensitivity and put the mic right on their lips and whisper into it. If I can hear your tongue move around in your mouth and every breath that you take as you whisper in my ear, I'm immediately creeped out.

12:52 Mr Planet, well handled conversation but I think you missed or at least didn't directly address that he was trying to imply that mutations can't be passed down just because somatic mutations don't typically manifest phenotypically in the organism, which I think was his main, heavily obfuscated point. I would have pointed out that mutations in gamete producing cells (forget what they're callled) are passed down. My knowledge of reproduction is a bit rusty though, so could be wrong

There isn’t only one type of mutations. You can have silent mutations that don’t affect any morphological structures. But when you start getting into nonsense mutations or nonconservative missense mutations then it’s a whole different story. This process isn’t “womb developed” it’s genetically encoded and then expressed even if grown in a dish!
