Good morning! This is another tenor piece that I’ll add to my ever increasing list of “Tenor music that me, an inexperienced snare player will definitely try to play in the future for sure.”

Good evening! This is a tenor piece that I, a saxophone transferring to battery after an excellent spring percussion season, will totally eventually play one day. Nice to hear there are other hopefuls out there 🤩

I'm a bass player and cook by trade, the poly's are super sick. I wish every "cool kid" could take time to appreciate the band-o's. This is why you guys rock, I grew up playing for punk bands; and there is nothing more punk rock than knowing what you are doing, and why you are doing it. Keep up the good work brotha, mad respect!

Good morning! Watched the ‘09 video right after you finished the solo in this one. I’d say you played this better in your older, more wiser years. But the singles to doubles were better played in your younger years, and velocity was certainly not a factor. Lol you know, those youthful hot hands we used to have 😆. Biggest take away I noticed, It was definitely rim city at 101 in 2009, but goddammit I don’t think you hit a single rim in this one throughout the entire solo! 😂 Just gotta say, I remember me and my friends crowded around the computer in the band room(where we just always hung out) watching this in high school in ‘09 and just being blown away, and even though this vid is two years old now, (I’m still fairly new to your channel and am playing some catch up) you’ve just progressively gotten better and better and I’m envious of your chops. I played Bass 1 myself, and wouldn’t change that for the world as my drum throughout my marching days, but have always wished I developed my tenor chops as well. Keep up the great content, and have yourself a swell morning!

In 1998 SOA, we had a killer multi-percussion section that started off the entire show with a gliss on the congas. Every night, it was a masterclass by Hashim Veal.
