Plaiting the long mane is exactly how you are doing it! French braid right down the crest. Some prefer to leave the forelock as a separate braid 😊 he’s so handsome ❤

It was a lot of fun seeing Dinks (Bertie?) all dolled up but still being Dinks to the core. Costumes, kids, ponies, laughter and friends--what could be better?

Very much enjoyed. Loved Dinks!!!!! Hubby commented on how cold you must have been. Shared with him old stories with him of my youth and naughty ponies. Yes I've been soaked through and frozen and naughty us enjoyed some cider when all was said & done.

Fun ideas for mane platting with ribbons and bows etc…. Carriage and draft horses… check them out. Arthur and his pony 🧡🧡 well ridden. Get Arthur entered into some 30cm classes for defo and work up the levels and you should defo take dinks showing next year em when your not eventing and maybe take spritey in some ridden classes too

Running braids are great. Could also do scallop braids but that may not be acceptable in your context I'm not sure.
