Our family tradition is Christmas Eve at my in laws house. Dinner, white elephant gift exchange (can get really intense sometimes).. but always a good night with family. We always go to “bright nights “ a park that exclusively decorates with Christmas lights and fun characters. Even with my kids being older, we still do it and they still enjoy it

I agree with you, it’s never too late to start traditions! I started a new tradition for my family about three years ago… I noticed everyone seemed to lose steam at the thought of making a big dinner for Christmas. So, I suggested instead of cooking a big dinner for Christmas that we just order Chinese from our favorite local Chinese restaurant. Everyone loved this idea and the fact that there was no prep besides placing an order, and we have had Chinese food for our Christmas dinner every year since. It’s so delicious, and everyone has a great meal of food we all love. 😊

My favorite Christmas tradition was driving to look at the lights, going to Chicago to see the Marshal Fields windows and cookie baking. Our traditions keep changing as our family grows and people pass. My tradition with my kids is a new ornament for each of them, so when they get their first home and tree, they have familiar ornaments to hang.

We had a tradition of giving new pajamas as a Christmas Eve gift to open when my kids were little. They are now 27 & 23 and married and they still want their pjs on Christmas Eve. A few years ago I told them I was done with the tradition since they were adults and they did not like that and said I have to do it forever! Thanks for sharing your Munimade kit. A few of my favorite holiday traditions our family had was going to church with my grandparents on Christmas Eve and then driving around on the way home looking at all the lights. Another kind of silly tradition we had was after our Christmas at my one grandparents we would drive out to my Aunt and Uncle's house to hang out, eat more food, and watch, of all things, John Wayne movies. We also got to pick out an ornament each year from my Aunt. I also love decorating a Christmas tree. It is the minimum decoration I must have up.

🐞 In the late 50s early 60s there was little money..but the tradition of the Christmas stocking was all we kids could think about..the Silly Putty..miniature playing cards..Slinky..Bazooka chewing gum..and if we we're very lucky a new pencil case..A coin purse or wallet and candy but always a Tangerine in the toe and walnuts throughout!!!🤗

Every Christmas, we get unpainted plaster ornaments and spend an evening as a family painting them. We started this when our kids were very young, and it's so fun every year to look back at all the ornaments as we decorate the tree. This is my favorite holiday tradition.

My favorite Holiday tradition is on Christmas Eve our family on my husband's side does game nights where we play with quarters and 3 dice. A dice game called LRC means left right center which are on these dice. The quarters will either go to the person to the left or right or Center depending on what you roll. Center is a big bowl where all your quarters go, and the last person who remains will win that bowl of quarters. We have so much fun and then we eat pie. It has become my favorite thing to do every year. We also do this same tradition on Thanksgiving too.

I just had this same kit arrive the other day from Munimade! We've done the same tradition since my boys were little - special snowman plates, cups and placemats on Christmas Eve. The menu is M and M's finger foods and Italian Soda. Even at 26 and 23 now they still expect it. Lol. We follow it up again on New Years Eve. 😊

A tradition we have is cinnamon rolls on christmas morning along with a big breakfast. Another is putting on the 24 hours of A christmas Story the night before and leaving it on all night and the next day in the background while we open gifts and play with our goodies.
