Based on the specs printed on the power supply, the “ Jump Port” isn’t for jump starting at all. I figured that by the tiny cables shown hooking up to a vehicle. Cable that small will turn into a filament unless there’s overcurrent protection that kicks in. The port is listed as a car charger with max 12v/10A. In a pinch , that might spin a low compression, low displacement, 4 cylinder. But if it’s an old school engine making power with hundreds of cubic inches and compression ratios over 9:1, that power box is going to release the magic smoke in bulk. Best bet, build your own. Get a proper deep cycle 12v AGM battery, whip up an enclosure with the necessary porting for power and I/O. Add a pure sine wave inverter and you’re set. At a fraction of the cost. And you’ll know every inch of your power station in the event it has to be used in an emergency situation, you’ll be able to repair it or at least get minimal functionality until you can repair it.

Every manufacture should bring back sticker packs inside products.

I have an EchoRiver 800 watt, 1000 watts, peak use, for about $400.00, of a smaller size to yours, which has it's own plug in charge cable, and a Vehicle socket, several 110 Volt, US outlets, and can be separately charged from Solar Panals which I don't have.😊

Great timing Mat, just what I was looking for, your promo code is great and beats the £800+ price of DJI unit by 50%! Many thanks John

You’re welcome John! Not the normal item I review, but it’s so good and needed to share. Thanks!

120w out from the cigar lighter type socket, that's not enough to power a radio such as the ft891 at 100w RF. That's quite a big limitation imo. I have a cheap lifepo4 costing £60 which easily manages 20ah sustained draw and easily allows my 891 to output 100w well beyond my typical boredom threshold.

Would be nice to know if it really is pure sine. I'm doubtful given that a pure sine inverter alone from a respected brand would cost more than this unit, but happy to be proven wrong if anyone knows better. Also what's the EMI like under heavy load?

These are a nice solution, BUT.... 10Amp only from DC output and WHY co-axial sockets for the output? Should be power pole as used on the INPUT side. Not going to be wanting to draw 10A from a co-axial socket. And the centre pin is exposed and easily shorted. Bad design decision.

Too bad I live in the u.s. I'd love to use a discount code for something like this.
