Do you keep her walking. I know it’s a debatable issue, but I have 40yrs of experience and vet triage training. Keep them up and walking. The motion of the steps encourages the intestinal track to smooth out. I’ve seen it save several lives. Geeze, I sure hope she pulls through 🙏

On my horses they vets would tell me to keep them walking don't let them stop till the vet gets there and don't let them lay down because they could get a twisted gut and die. I hope 🙏 everybody is well she will be ok🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕💕🐎🐎🐎🐎 We all will pray for her and for u girl. Keep the faith

My heart goes out to you and Fiona, my quarter horse mare had bad colic once when she was in foal, she was badly bloated. The vet had to put a long needle into her stomach and let a heap of built up gas out. Both she and her baby survived, I broke into tears of relief. Turns out I thought I was so lucky to get some really great Lucerne chaff and that caused the problem, it was too green and fresh. She was a champion and so was her son. All my wishes and prayers go out to both of you. ❤

Sending prayers. You can see shen not well. And has pain . Looking at belly. I seen on a rescue.there vet When their horse had colic. They drenched with some Epson salt not a lot. It broke down the sand in there belly. . I know colic can be different things. But he did show in a test thing horse poo full of sand from a horse with sand in the belly He had that I'm mineral oil they use And one in water Epson salt I think he said and it broke down the sandy poo fast Wish I could find it again or saved the video

Praying for Fiona! Malin, March and April have not been good months for you. I think when all of this is done, you and your husband are going to need to take a nice long holiday! Go driving through the countryside. I know it isn't practical to take a long holiday when you own a horse farm, so maybe just a long weekend away somewhere. You really do put your heart and soul into your horses and I think they know that, it's why they will do anything you ask of them. Well, they try to do anything you ask of them, and you have to have a few class clowns (Lavendel).

High protein in fresh grown green grass. I’ve had old school type Morgans that couldn’t be on spring pasture. I had to corral and feed older but quality hay which was lower in protein. I wish you the best. 🙏🏼❣️

Colic do your TPR - temp/ pulse/ respiration. Keep her up and moving call your Vet. Give Banamine if not better in 20-30 minutes the Vet will need to give mineral oil through nose. Only give Banamine IV or by paste.

I also have a horse that colic all the time vet didn't know why but will further testing it was the grain so took the horses off sweat feed grain and put them on triple crown complete feed no colic now for 8 years

My horse only get good quality green dry hay in square bales when it is not season for them to eat grass.

This is another colic case? Something is wrong outside the horses ... Pesticides, mold, mildew in the grass or feed. Check hay, alfalfa... Check buckets for mildew... sterilization of sponges that wash the buckets.

It is when the horse have stomach pain, it can be a lot of different things and they call them all colic. One thing to watch for is that the horse looks at it's stomach.😢❤🐎

The Clever Cowgirl (KZbin) had a horse colic in a week ago-it was likely sand…she gave him psyllium and he evacuated a couple cups of sand overnight. She also altered his diet for a couple weeks.

I have been very lucky putting horse in trailer and go for a ride. They usually poop in trailer. This is what we do in polo. Take for a ride and call vet.

Also instead of colic it could be trapped gas i gave my horse peppermint oil about 10 drops in a large syringe took the gas away in 10 min canceled the vet but your horse does look like it has colic give the horse flunazine for pain and inflammation and walk till she poops or have your vet do oil in the stomach. I have gotten everyone of my horses out of colic but its work

If it's windy and the barometric pressure drops , and she was out grazing, it could cause colic .
