Great show. Ultimately I became a firefighter medic. Back in 1974 we lost three firefighters when a large stationary propane tank blew. I am retired now. Most of the memories are good.

I Love this Program . I love to see Jpohnny and Roy do what they do best and yet thhey have a fun side too. Right now the show is airing on ME TV in Buffalo,Ny.. My Wife loves this show too.. The whole Station was a whole was very funny at times and also very serious too..

If the show had two other guys playing these characters, it wouldn't work and glad it was a inspiration of show for me. Been a firefighter for 10 yrs which isn't done with and EMT for 16 yrs. and been on some of the most crazy and weird calls that i couldn't have imagine.

As long as there are paramedics and EMTs I think Emergency! will have a special nitch. I know some EMT raining manuals actually have Emergency! listed under history of emergency medicine. Of course, Randolph Mantooth speaking at the many Firefighters and EMS conventions every year helps too! Have loved these guys 4 years and have deeply appreciated what Mr. Mantooth has done for my chosen field as well as his personal words of encouragement for EMT-Bs and EMT-Ps.

Both my EMT and Paramedic textbooks talk about Emergency! My parents watched Emergency growing up and now are watching reruns . In paramedic school and they ask all the time how similar it is to real life. Emergency truly is the only accurate media representation of EMS and fire EMS.

Emergency!...John Gage...Roy too...Can't get enough. This is perfect. Some of the videos like this up here just don't really hold that much meaning, but this one does. And I've been seeing actors I know from other places in Emergency!, and Emergency! actors in other places, like Kevin Tighe was in that recent Perry Mason movie on MeTV and Squire Trelane(Star Trek) was in Emergency! I have to say the actor Randolph Mantooth actually made that TV program. He played as Michael on 2 episodes of Battlestar Galactica in 1978 or 1979. When he, his wife Sarah, and few kids were onboard a space ship and token onboard the Galactica?

Yes, it is a small world. I grew up just outside of Auburn! (northern side, went to Port Byron school) I still miss it there. Also, I didnt think there was anything 30 minutes north of Rochester... except a whole bunch of lake. :-p
