Great jump starter,,, BUT,,, How and which cable “when jump starting “ do you put the positive on & negative, the batteries are hooked positive to a negative and a negative is hooked to another battery that is on positive?

Four 8D Batteries? Those things literally weigh 100 pounds! More power too you for carrying those and the new ones as well.

I don't believe they run on 24v. I think that is just used for starting than it goes back to 12v.

Eugene Streets *Yes you are correct. I have a 400 Cummings in my dump truck that cranks on 4 six volt batteries=24 volt for cranking the engine only.Everthing else operates on 12 volts DC ! ALL LIGHTS,GAGUES,ELECTRIC TARP,electric mud flaps etc.
