2:28 Story: KLM Flight 1800 was flying from Amsterdam to Besiege City Intl. Airport. The aircraft was a 25 year old DC10 that is being retired the next day. There were 229 passengers on board and 102 of them were students, teachers, parents, and the principal they where going on a school field trip they are 5th graders. Before landing the plane got into fog and the pilots couldn’t see where they where going. At 2,900 feet the pull up alarm went off the pilots tried to pull up but it did not work and soon the plane crashed into the mountain. 5 people survived but rescue took too long and they died. The NTSB found out that the plane’s stabilizer was broken and it was not fixed. No one survived on the flight. Next year the airport always shutdown when there’s bad weather.

@@MurderPrime_Editz they could have survived maybe even before the crash, as the fire spread fast, the cabine would be already on fire killing both pilots, and jumping off while the crash would be nearly impossible as opening a door would probably take the amount of time the plane has fell down, including running to it and getting a parachute and also having enough time so you dont get smashed into the floor. the plane was still spinning so the pilots couldnt do anything probably so i dont think theres away of surviving after the plane hit it

Audio transcript of crash: Captain: Having a little bit of wake turbulence FO: yea i think its from TWA Captain: GET OUT OF IT FO: im trying both: oh god alert system: beeeeeep bank angle bank angle Captain: LANDING GEAR!! NOW FO: this is gonna be a hard landing crew last words: oh god is the FUEL GONNA IGNITE! AAAAHHHHHHHHH. Cause of crash: over stressing the rudder taking of the vertical stabilizer. How they found out: The NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) rushed to the crash site,on the way to finding the fuselage, 2,000 miles away they found part of the vertical stabilizer they tested how much stress it could take and it broke. 0:29 STORY TIME Flemse Airlines flight 244 The accident happened on 18 October, 1974. An 11 year old DC8 operating as Flemse Airlines flight 244 is on its way from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Besiege International Airport. There were 238 people on board including 8 flight attendants and 3 pilots 41 of the passengers were Flemse Airlines employees. All pilots were experienced flyers with more than 5,000 hours each. The flight was going to fly with a broken GPWS which was okay to do so back then. Somewhere in the flight above Norway, the crew were informed of a terrible fog in their flight oath and was advised to go around it. However, the crew decided to stich to the flight plan because they will have to go around and turn left which will be uncomfortable to passengers. About 2 hours into the flight above the Scandinavian mountains First Officer Flemming notice that they are to close to a mountain. Captain Foxwind and First Officer Flemming turn right to avoid the mountains and the Captain pulled up a bit. However, the First Officer pulled up a bit too much and stalled the aircraft making it crash to the mountains. 92 of the 227 passengers and 4 flight attendants survive. The NTSB said it was the crews fault not to avoid the fog even though they have been told to and the First Officers fault for pulling up too much. About 2 years later, another Flemse Airlines DC8 operating as flight 1076 hit a Continental Airlines DC10(See 0:58) but for some reason is still here even though it has a crash like every year lol
