Emergency One Wheel Landing! Cape Air Flight 9K126 Diverts Back to Boston After Landing Gear Failure

Cape Air flight 9K126 (Cessna 402C) from Boston, Massachusetts to Bar Harbor, Maine was diverted back to Boston after the pilots discovered a problem with the landing gear.
Upon returning to Boston, the pilot made a successful one-wheel landing on runway 4L.
Notice: Due to the recordings of ATC that are available, there are missing communications with Approach and Tower.

Correction: On the info screen at the beginning of the video I stated, "pilots" when it should have been "pilot." Cape Air only flies with one pilot. The front right seat is a passenger seat.

Why was he trying to lower the gear at 7000 ft though 🤔

His assigned cruising was 7,000 feet, he did not get above 4, 000 feet. On take the off there were concerns about the gear retract. He ran the check lists, and cycled the gear a few times. He could not get three greens. He requested a return to Logan. He was not being jerk by lowering the gear at 7,000 feet 200 miles from his destination, just for the fun of it.
