Yay . . . . Yay. YAY! This is best news of the day! Thanks for the great podcast. Liam Coen deserves to be a head coach. But very happy we have him for at least one more year. Did they include him becoming AHC? Glazers where able to see Coen's price. They just needed the numbers to offer. And they got it. Bowles can adjust his scheme to go from aggressive/reactive/passive defense to be an aggressive/aggressive/aggressive defense. Aggressive pass rush Aggressive linebacking Aggressive secondary Instead, defend every blade of grass. Dictate to the opposing team's offenses. Bury their Quarterbacks in the Quarterback graveyard started by Lee Roy Selmon. These guys need to study Selmon, Sapp, and Rice. Selmon especially because he had more moves than anyone I saw in a Bucs uni. They should watch Reggie White. When the defense is more aggressive in depth they do seem to play better. We can always use upgrades but we do have talent to build on. I would love to see Bowles make the defense better, dominant, crushing, pillaging. We are Buccaneers so we need to learn to freeboot the ball from opposing teams offenses. That's what Pirates do. He needs to improve the defense, though. Either way, we have to root for that improvement. How is progress coming on Godwin's rehab? That was a freak injury as Chris was giving it his all on that play. Mike Evans might be year-to-year. If he gets 1K and feels good after this next year, then he might come back again. When Mike doesn't get 1K or he doesn't feel like he's recovering then we'll lose him to retirement. Note that Mike has been mostly healthy except for his 'Achilles' hamstring. We need to enjoy Mike while he is here. We might need to watch his knees. Evans is a legend. the jags were a very interesting hc job. that team has good bones at certain positions. it would be very easy to build up and be a good fb team. i wonder why coen decided not to take it. im glad he didnt but im still curious

Crying about punting and the 4th down conversions against the Commanders is ridiculous. They were the best team at it all season. No one had an answer. You also can't force a punt if they always go for it on 4th. We had a chance to win, offense stumbled. We will be better next season defensively. Also give Daniels credit, hes an insanely dynamic runner.
