That crying baby reminded me of my years of dog grooming. I wouldn’t continue to put a distressed dog under those circumstances, without sedation with sharp instruments. Too many times groomers get angry, and push it, then the dog ends up injured/scared of groomers. In this is situation, you were able to help this little guy, I loved seeing him back up and playful. ❤

I'm so happy for his outcome. He couldn't hide the pain of the adjustment but he didn't go into full flight mode. He only did the fight mode very briefly while the pain was at its most intense and then he settled when you stopped pulling. He never showed fear towards either of you. He just screamed in pain because he couldn't hold it back because the pain overtook him. That will forever hurt my soul but I am happy for him to have the head of his femur back in place and to not have to go through surgery right now. If the tendon damage is bad enough he may end up needing surgery years ahead in the future but this way we know that is only a maybe.

Dr. Doug, I began watching you in March 20 20. Soon after watching you I noticed that my little poodle mix rescue was limping badly on his rear right leg. To your videos I learned to simply massage his right rear thigh gently I did it several times a day. I am happy to report. Extremely intense. It had to cause him pain just moving let along if he bumped that leg. A few moments of pain resulted with a better outcome once it went into place. Hopefully,it won't become displaced again. Great job Dr.

Oh my goodness, brave boy Shay went through so much during his session. I honestly was as confident as his Mommy that you would help him, but I had to turn the volume off for this one. My granddoggie Noodle is always nervous going to the doctor's office especially getting her nails trimmed. So each time we go, we give her three quarters of a pill that helps her relax. I don't understand why the facility that suggested surgery didn't write a prescription for Shay's pain while his mommy was deciding what to do? He could've had one prior to coming to your office. Thank you as always for your amazing work, love and dedication to animals.

Amazing!!! While I was watching video, my protective poodle mama hearing he was whining and came to me so worries 😅 I had dislocated shoulder due to snowboard accident. It was tough to put it back in. So proud of you Shay!!

Wonderful!!! ❤. You could tell it hurt you too, you must be an empathetic person. I do massage, or used to, and would transfer calm energy into the person I was massaging, if that makes sense…. Anyway, I think that is something you do with the pets that you do, and it’s great! 😊😊. Loved this! Congratulations Shay and mamma!! ❤

The wonderful thing about the pain he is working through at the time of treatment is that he will love you no matter what happens. They live in the moment and have such huge hearts and love their humans endlessly.

This was absolutely mind blowing! Such a combination of skill and sensitivity, and yet complete trust from Shay’s momma. The traction was fascinating. I wonder how many young dogs have such circumstances, most, I’m certain, not treated with chiropractic. Thank you for all you do. Wow! Im showing this video to anyone who says chiropractic care doesn’t work. Good job Dr. Doug. I wish i found you before i put my dear cat down. Vets said her hind end weakness was irreversible and would get worse. I never want an animal to suffer so i made that decision but i wish now i found you sooner.
