I was on the edge of my seat when I saw the purrgils. I literally said “no way they are bringing Ezra back this early!”(and they didn’t) but I do think you are right about them being way more important and I didn’t even think about that but it makes total sense. Loving the story line so far I’m thinking when Ezra does come back he will be the one to train Jacen, but we will see and I can’t wait!

I'm telling you man... Those Ahsoka episodes, they make me feel like a kid again. Like i'm in love with what Dave Filoni is doing right now. The music, the plot, characters development. Everything. I love it. And the Kiner(s) are killing it with the music. Huyang's training with Sabine with the background music and Ahsoka watching them was like watching Tales Of The Jedi again. When Anakin watched Ahsoka train with Tera Sinube, then with Rex and the 501st. Ahsoka saying " Let's go again " like Anakin when Ahsoka kept passing out during that training. Like... i'm in love with the callbacks. For me, Ahsoka as a character is at a state now where she's trying to be like Anakin, strong mentally even tho she may be conflicted inside, sometimes breaking rules etc etc... I think that's the vision that Dave Filoni is trying to show with this show. So for me, when I see Ahsoka now, I see her personality from her past, her struggles and Anakin's personality.

I feel the same way, and it definitely seems like a redemption arc for Ahsoka. When she turned her back on the Jedi, she was also turning her back on Anakin, and she's never forgiven herself for that. By training and believing in Sabine as Anakin trained and believed in her, she is finding her way back to a day when she can finally say, "Yes, I am a Jedi," and the redemption arc of the whole Jedi order can finally begin.

Loved the episode it felt like star wars ,and clone wars, and rebels all at once when Ahsoka is training Sabine on the ship I had an ANH vibes it was almost the same scene as when obi Wan trained Luke on the Falcon love marrok's voice, and shin flying. It had exactly the same feeling over it like a prequels movie and that is something they haven't managed to capture before this. Rogue one is the closest i guess but this was the first time they competely managed to capture that classic Star Wars atmosphere/feeling again since Disney tool over. I loved this episode as much as the first two.

No. I dont believe there was anyone who actually like that scene. There is no way. It was just so unbearably stupid. I really wish this series will be at least not absolute shit like TBOBF or Kenobi. Im not a hater, I really want this to be good, but that scene was just DUMB. It made no fucking sense. Also we got nothing from the episode. We learned nothing new! The whole episode was just nostalgia shit. Just a very bad filler episode I really wish the next episode will be worth something and wont be as bad as this one. But that scene with ashoka in space just made me question reality. My theory is that Baylan is actually Shin's father. The two are trying to get to Thrawn because he was somehow to blame for his wife's death. They're playing Morgaine to draw out Thrawn and in the process of trying to get revenge Baylan dies so Shin can escape. She then joins up with Ahsoka and team.

The episode did not confirm that Sabine is specifically force-sensitive, it confirmed what George Lucas has said all along that the force is in all of the Star Wars characters which means everyone has some force sensitivity, it’s just that some are way more talented at engaging it than others and as Ahsoka said, discipline and training is what gets one to harness the force with more authority.

There, it is Leia who reports about Thrawn (having seen him) and she is not believed that a Grand Admiral ist still around and doubly not that he is non-human. She gets dismissed by certain senators, and even Mon is sceptic. So they did not need to invent a dumb Republic, it was already in the story.

The training scene was great, and love that Sabine isn't an insta know it all, and struggles and makes mistakes. Also, Ahsoka going outside the ship to buy Sabene time to get the ship mostly operation to make a get away. Can't wait for Baylin Skoll and Ahsoka to meet, should be most epic. Missed reference: When Shin Hati tells her cronies to engage Ahsoka's T-6, the camera angle of their strafing run was a direct callback to A New Hope, when TIE fighters first engaged the Millennium Falcon. I would personally love to see Ezra Bridger's return since there's no confirmation he died in the first place. Not to mention, the whole I'm counting on you Sabine, he said in his message in the season finale of Rebels. I like to believe he knew Sabine would rescue him or find him where ever he ended up in the galaxy. It would be a waste to kill him off screen to me at least. 1.) 30 minute episodes should be illegal. All episodes should be an hour. 2.) The ship taking next to no damage in that dog fight was pretty unbelievable. It was like watching someone shoot a bb gun at a tank. 3.) Those purrgil are way bigger than I thought they would be. They were definitely bigger than the ones we saw in Rebels. Makes me wonder if riding inside one is a viable option for getting to Ezra/Thrawn.

Feels like the Republic issue here is not so much them being "dumb" as Hera not actually reporting the important part, i.e.: "a pair of Sith-trained lightsaber wielders protected the escape of a transport ship hauling a gigantic hyperdrive, which opened fire when ordered to stand down. Here's the data from when I pursued them and the tracker." That's way more convincing than "yeah um I think Thrawn's a thing." If anyone was dumb in that scene it was Hera, I hate to say.

Too short of an episode for me. You can tell it's really about to go down. Some reveals and action on the next one for sure. I think they might find Ezra towards the ending of the season with a cliff hanger.

This show is doing so well. Good to see better chemistry manifesting btwn Ahsoka and Sabine. Them two ans Huyang are the team I didn’t realize I needed. Sidebar: Hera is a general and couldn’t sell the necessity of the mission? It’s like she had a hole in her brain. SMH.

I'm predicting that by end of the final episode, Sabine Wren will be able to use her Force muted powers to make a ball roll downhill. 😂 Mitichlorianz exist in all living things, so that EVERYBODY has a tiny bit of connection to the Force, so it's definitely not impossible. The show is either building up to say that anybody can do it, or it's building up to showing that you don't have to be Force sensitive to be Jedi.

I would accept her using the force to move some small things normally. Still if she would get highly emotionally stressed like some threatens someones life that she cares about then it would be fine to her be able to do some more major force manipulation. Still I hope they don't go the way that makes her be able to do Jedi force manipulation at will but keep it more contained only when she is stressed emotionally.

@Wezqu Mitichlorians exist in all living things. They've been saying this since Phantom Menace. Everybody has a connection to the Force. Anybody can wield it if he opens himself to it, including Sabine. Some people have more mitichlorians than others, making them more sensitive to the Force than others. With training, Sabine can lift the cup, I'm sure; she's connected to the Force. But she's not sensitive to it; she said she doesn't even feel it.

Unfortunately, I felt this was the weakest episode so far - and not just because it was so short. I could pretty confidently predict that it was written by Dave Filoni, as the dialogue suffers from a stilted slowness; there’s almost always a sizable gap between each character’s lines/responses to one another. Not the natural talking-over-one-another that happens in everyday conversation. Don’t get my comments wrong: I want this show to succeed and the first two episodes got me very excited (even with some similar dialogue critiques)…this one just felt a bit shoehorned in to get us to Seatos with Ahsoka, Sabine, and Huyang. Another diatribe would be this infatuation of making certain star fighters and starships so WW2 nostalgic without any Star Wars space battle practicality (don’t get me started on the opening sequence of Last Jedi!). Why are Shin and company running about in clearly inferior/old school fighters that don’t seem to have any threat of taking down the T-6 (no stakes=yawn)?? If you’re going to have such a short episode, keep it fast-paced, punchy, and exciting! #endrant

I think Sabine will be the one to use that lesson from Ahsoka about anger and frustration being unbalancing against Shin Hati. Balen seems too focused for Ashoka to use that against him.
