Bo Katans body language at the end how she is moving her helmet is very important to take notice..she's surrounded by others and accepting her..she's been away and that feeling being accepted is everyone can say its a great feeling..also her family may of been lost but "family (vin diesel joke) you don't need to be blood related to have that family feeling... Also the children of Death Watch know who the Night Owls are which is a organization Bo Katan helped form and lead to break away from death watch. So either something is missing that hasn't been revealed or there is a plot hole in the lore.

My take on the reason Elia Kane turned the machine all the way up wasn't because it was part of a bigger plan to free Moff Gideon, but because she wanted revenge on the doctor for his betrayal. Mando could have never found and boarded Gideon's ship without the doctor's help. He told them where to find the ship, where Grogu's cell was on the ship, and warned them about the Dark Troopers. They also used his ship to get aboard. Mando also used the doctors cylinder-key thingy. I am not sure how much of that she knew about, but the more she knew, the more plausible revenge would be as a motive. The actress is also a martial artist so we may be able to see her involved in some epic fight this season. With Bo Katan maybe?

That is a classic fighter pilot move when your aircraft can out climb your enemies aircraft. Altitude = speed, you always want to attack from the advantage point of height. There are classic dog fights between Japanese warplanes and American airplanes, in early war that was a death sentence for the American pilot, by mid war with the newest fighter planes the Japanese pilots were shocked by the climb rates and attack posture of American fighters. The opening segment with Bo & Din escaping Kalevala was GREAT, especially AMAZING Tie Fighter scene. The ship climbing up then sudden turn down was awesome! I'm angry & sad for BK that they bombed her palace. The questions are WHO & WHY? The middle Dr Pershing segment was boring and WAY TOO LONG, especially the train ride. The New Republic feels like The Empire. Robotic Counselors. A cubicle space for an advanced Scientist. Cold. Wasteful. Uncaring. It's not believable that the new govt would be just another Empire. Lastly, great acting by Katee Sackhoff. Despite the mask, we saw Bo-Katan visibly conflicted about The Mandalorian Covert. It was hard for her to accept helmet rule yet she was very moved by the automatic warm welcome into the Covert despite them knowing who she is and her past. She's been very lonely for her people...and here are some of them...

The New Republic being a new Empire is very believable. The NR knew the First order was out there plotting to retake the galaxy and they intentionally did nothing. They did nothing because the rich and powerful aristocrats on the core worlds could care less what happened to everyone else. As much as I loved this episode, it felt like watching a completely diffrent show for most of it. If we only get 8 epsides per season, and they're not even all an hour, it just feels like too much time was spent on this. Also the sudden pacing shift is really off putting, even if it all was well done. Just my thoughts though.

Some shows had seasons that were shorter and hit their cap at 12 - 13 episodes. Really miss that format because I think it helps the writers with story-pacing, proper character development and narrative structure.

Bo katan is actually plotting. Her confirming mando didn’t see the mythosaur and then when they went to the covert group she saw a way to put them in her own use and cleverly mentioned the part where mando drowned and she pulled him under the water. Very clever indeed, then by creed the clan had to welcome her as mandalorian. Now that It's done, she'll try to tame the mythosaur to claim the rule of mandalore and the group has to follow her by creed. It’s that simple.

That Crazy Ivan Bo pulled off in the Gauntlet was epic! The New Republic seems extremely dystopian and I think Elia is working for Gideon. Interesting episode. Could be that Elia Kane is buying her time until she gets more clearence and moves up the ladder to either free Gideon or steal more information from the republic for Thrawn. Also think that the Armourer could be someone we know like BO katan sister that was mentioned or someone from the series we saw.

I like that they set up Dr. Pershing as the covert, but then made it look like Bo Katan is the convert. In the beginning there was no sense of anything more than being stunned for Bo Katan, but by the end, she is now being directly challenged to convert.

I do hope in the next couple of episodes with Djin & Bo becoming more & more close leading to some future relationship. I hope she will open up to both Djin & Grogu and tell them she saw a Mythosaur down in the waters!! I really don’t like the possibility of her totally betraying them both so that she can gain the right to rule without the Darksaber. Also I think it would be so incredible if down somewhere in the caves hidden and possibly protected by the Mythosaur is a hidden Temple made by Tarre Vizsla which is the special place where he would go so he could meditate and train as a Jedi Mandalorion. With there being leftover data or better yet an actual Jedi Holacron made by Tarre Vizsla himself with this loaded with his ways of Jedi/Mandalorian fighting techniques and how she designed ways to utilize both the skills of a Jedi, with the weapons of both Jedi and Mandalorians, and these would be learned and even improved by Grogu!!!

I got a weird feeling about Bo Katan at the end. Is everyone forgetting she never mentioned what was in the water? Previously she mentioned how her old followers left her (basically no loyalty), and now she’s with a group that is extremely loyal to their leader and creed. This really feels like Bo Katan is going to try to take over as their leader by taming the Mythosaur and claiming leadership, and they’ll follow her because they are hardcore in the old ways. Then she’ll have her extremely dedicated following she’s wanted to reclaim what she believes is her birthright. This episode takes convert two ways for me- Pershing who was bad but now wants to join the “good” side, and Bo who was doing good things and now is pretending to be something she’s not to take over another clan for her own greed.

It's more like shes finally realizing the "mandalore way" is far more than some pomp or show for the people played by the rulers and it's actually a way of life that it's based on principles and historic facts and not myths, legends and pure fantasy as she believed before. Also shes realizing how the "way" has more cohesion, and brings stronger bonds than the idea of the dark saber.

It's not about greed... In terms of the force and the star wars universe, a balance is needed, to rule a people, you need to be as sly and confident as you can be, but also empathetic , and knowing what the right thing to do is. The balance comes from their eventual union. Mandalorians always tended to be "neutral" in the force of things, enticing both the light and dark, which is mainly why the Jedi feared them.

The newly formed Empire was perfectly fine utilizing Republic Era Venator Class capital ships until more advanced Star Destroyers replaced them. It does seem kind of stupid that a fledgling New Republic would not utilize Imperial capital ships to enhance it's inadequately small fleet until more advanced replacements became available in adequate supply. Also, there is a precedent in cannon for doing so. Did not the early rebellion fleet utilize an Imperial Carrier depicted in the Star Wars Rebel series?

I think it's an interesting way to explain why the New Republic is useless when the First Order comes ashore. By refusing to use imperial tech, they shot themselves in the foot. If that happened out of a sense of hubris that peace was assured and the empire was no longer a threat, or an attempt to detach themselves from the past, I don't know. In our world, the Allies had no issue using no-no mustache man's tech. In the case of the USA and the USSR, it was a huge component of their respective space programs. Guess they didn't go for that part of the metaphor in this show?

I think it would be a great story to have the armorer be the secret sister - Bo and her had their own extreme reactions to saltine's death - Bo turning to Jedi for help to reunite Mandolore, and the secret sister going off with a more intense sect of the Way... Two opposites, that hopefully come back together? Show growth from Bo that she doesn't want a repeat of what happened with Satine and they ran out of time?

Disney should market and produce, or license out the production of Imperial field biscuits to be sold online and in supermarkets across the country. A handsome tin similar to the box left at Dr. Pershing's doorstep would be just the right esthetically pleasing package for the biscuits to be displayed on store shelves in. They should have a yellow and red variety that should have different flavors. Also an Imperial brand coffee should also be mass produced to go with the biscuits. Grand Admiral Thrawn, or Emperor Palpitine's likeness should be displayed on the packaging showing them enjoying the product. This should be done immediately.

That mountaintop is mentioned in the star wars High Republic book Light of the Jedi!!! I was excited to see that! Although, they specifically mention that none of the leaders of the galaxy, whoever it may have been, on Corusant, have ever changed the look of that monument, and it always remained the same, but it did not look like how it was described in that book. It's still cool that it was included tho!!

I was really surprised about this episode. It was a very badass. Bo and Din Djarin are redeemed and Dr pershing is being tortured by this officer of moff Gideon. I liked the negative tension between house Kryze and Vizla. If Bo would knew that it was Paz Vizla who talked with her, then the situation would be escalated. Maybe there are other Clan members from other houses who also hate house Kryze. I personally think that Din is gonna reunite them all and gonna be Mandalore the uniter and bo as his queen.(Patchwork family). 🔥🔥

I think Mando truly didn't see the Mythosaur, probably because he already has deep faith in the way of the Mandalorian. The Mythosaur probably revealed itself to Bo Katan because she was a disbeliever, it was to reignite/restore her faith.

Loved how at the end all the mandos welcome Bo and Din into the group but I don’t know if I’m tripping but pre vizla looked like he was pissed off that they were redeemed. Gonna be interesting how this influenced Bo as it seems like her seeing the giant mythical creature and being accepted into this group is going to heavily influence her into changing her ways and probably falling in favor of her people being one collective group fighting amongst each other rather against each other, but I hope they let din tame the mythosaur as I highly doubt they tease the monster and not utilize it at all

I honestly don't think Bo Katan is a believer of anything other than her being in charge. She did not tell Mando about the Mythosaur. She is keeping that one under her sleeve in case she can't regain the darksaber. No matter what happens or how chummy she becomes with Din, she is going to have to defeat him in combat or kill him to take back that darksaber or she is not leading. She has disdain for the children of the watch, she is there now out of convenience. She is going to manipulate them and Mando into building a mandalorian army and then she will do what maul did with vizla and challenge him to a dual in hopes of taking over. Either this happens exactly or somewhere along the way she actually starts to believe that Mando will be the Mandalore. And Kane is actually brainwashing Dr. Pershing and reconditioning him just as I suspect she is by Moff Gideon. They are probably going to clone the Emperor.

Agreed! According to popular believe, I wasn't surprised Bo didn't mention the Mythosaur. Of course she won't, because of not having the dark saber, she surely wants to keep this one to herself. Diving into the living doesn't change her instantly into an honorable, virtuous person and a believer of the way like Din, or the Armorer. Bo's an opportunistic, entitled, self-righteous individual with and agenda... I'm curious about the rumors' she'll end up riding the Mythosaur wearing new armor, forged by the Armorer.

Yes! Thrawn, the Chimera, and the 7th Fleet! As soon as I saw that second set of TIE interceptors after Din & Bo destroyed that first wave it clicked in my head. They were part of Thrawn’s fleet. His appearance is near! This is the Way!
