I always find it funny how nearly EVERY other "variation" of the actual events, ends with the good guys winning, Palpy either imprisoned or dead, and with a happy Anakin with Padme raising the children. It's almost like the one we got is the only (or one of the very few) where everything went to hell.

the thing is they don't, since clones are technically products of the Kaminoians they don't receive the same types of treatment of a normal person, thus in a few isolated cases where the clones themselves have the time and situation for it they can cremate or burry the body. Otherwise the republic would send out teams to recover the bodies from the battlefield (at their own convienence) and reuse/ repair armor and salvage whatever genetic material for new batches of clones.

In conclusion, Order 37 forces clones to commit genocides just to hunt specific targets.

forget plot armor esp for the original movies ... I feel this is FAR more realistic as to what would have happened ... Anakin was smarter and more mature (esp in the Clone Wars, thanks to people like Dave F.) then he appeared in the movies ... that FINAL part of the fall always seemed too rushed to me ... like part of Anakin would "fight Vader" more ... maybe with the same outcome (Vader "winning" until ROTJ) but .. still the good in Anakin would have put up more of a fight

Aside from various other problems with how The Clone Wars basically negates the movies being possible and then just rolls with it anyway, there is also the fact that Jedi are very good at sensing when someone is drugged, has mental problems, etc. It is probably outright impossible for Anakin to not sense Fives's condition. At the very least, him being killed instead of captured, given what he had been telling people, should have made Anakin take his words seriously. Heck, when he was kinda nuts, Anakin could have simply looked into his mind more or less. I like Fives, but the whole scenario works solely if Anakin is not Force-sensitive. Hell, even the situation happening instead of Fives doing something totally different and more helpful is completely ridiculous. The idea they'd treat him as crazy when he reported what he knew is also ridiculous. Not only because Anakin and Rex have very high trust in their men, but also because they'd have taken it seriously until proven to be something else. His claims were basically just that Palpatine is a traitor and the Clones are part of a plot to kill the Jedi, right? That doesn't sound like someone who's crazy, that sounds like someone who discovered a plot and is reporting it. And why didn't they listen to him in the first place? They thought he was crazy. Why? Because he was upset...that he had discovered the plot. Aaaand they don't think that's a damn good reason to be freaking out?
