Hey around 5:00 in the video when you're saying the lightsaber could also be old republic era the old republic era would be when at atton was founded and/or went missing then it became enough of a legend for that famous pirate to look for and find so im thinking the light saber was a relic from the acolyte era (probably a bit earlier like when yoda was a youngling or barley a Padawan)

Can we appreciate for a moment how great the kids are acting. KB’s actress really shone this episode and the actress of Fern?! I so want to see her act both now and when she’s grown! Also: I love how they deal with KB’s restrictions, striking a balance between pointing out her limitations and also showing that she’s not defined by them, but by her abilities and personality. That’s so rare when it comes to the portrayal of disability: either they concentrate on the restrictions and ignore the abilities or the other way around.

My opinion: I suspect the supervisor is actually a super computer, but I suspect that the parents already know who the supervisor is. KB is probably going to have a lot of surgery throughout her life to get new cybernetics as she grows. And I suspect Jude Law's character was is either an Order 66 survivor, a jedi reject, or someone whom the jedi never found as a child.

I’ve been impressed with the writing and performances in this show. I’m glad it’s written in a way where you don’t need to know much backstory (I would watch this channel to understand the Ahsoka storylines) or have constant flashbacks like The Acolyte which I felt like was trying to do a Rashoman type of storytelling but I was not so engaged that I felt invested in the arc and progression. This show sustains interest. And Neel’s face has got some Grogu level cuteness, I adore him.

Now for the prediction: Silvo is not a Jedi, we know that, but heres the thing, hes not even force sensitive... why not? he has never show his hands (always with gloves) so he either has magnets in his hands or no hands at all and some droid prostetics so he can move metallic things , but not too big (he couldnt stop M33 when he went berserker so he had to run /press the off button) I dont know if someone else came to this conclution but there you go, lets see how wrong am I , see you in the next one!

At first, I thought, 'Am I really watching a kids' show? Is this just a waste of time?' But since it had 'Star Wars' in the title, I decided to give it a chance, even though my expectations were pretty low. To my surprise, it turned out to be an incredibly good show! Now, I’m hooked and can’t wait for the upcoming episodes-and hopefully future seasons. I don't think that surprise at the end of the episode was "a ship within a ship" but a disguise for the real Onyx Cinder. A similar trick was used in The Expanse when the Rocinante - a fast and heavily armed Martian gunship - was disguised as a junky old freighter. With a simple command the crew was able to bump all the tanks and other junk strapped to it's hull at a later point in the story.

Be interesting to see if they can navigate hyperspace without SM-33. But without SM-33 they don’t need the pirates code for Fern to be captain. Even with the pirate code if she claims to be captain and no one challenges it she’s captain again. In fact that’s how she became captain in the first place. As he revivals later, SM-33 knew the fate of the old captain. So he didn’t accept her claim based on the story of her killing him and throwing out the airlock. He accepted her claim due to the pirates code. She claimed the captaincy and no one challenged her, so she was captain.

So they don’t need SM-33 - but then there was the scene where they were worried about SM-33. so in expecting them to get him back, but SM-33 won’t accept Fern as captain unless Jod is dead or yields to Fern after a challenge. I guess he could be in prison.

Now it’s possible that his plan for getting out included separating Fern and SM-33, and he had to do that to convince SM-33 to not go with fern since as long as she was captain he wouldn’t leave her. But while possible it wouldn’t explain the why he wanted them arrested, so I don’t think it’s likely. Just throwing it out there anyway.

Great video! This episode felt really short, and it was shorter than last week’s episode. I saw in an interview that the actors that played Wim and KB said this was their favorite episode, so I was curious what that would mean for their characters. It made sense because they had a lot to do. I don’t think they will want to be pirates but they will want to do something more adventurous for sure.

This show is definitely a great show and I can't wait to see the last 2 episodes. I gotta disagree about the show "hyping up" the security droids as fearsome, they come across more as odd than an actual threat, but the people of At-Attin are so used to the system and their rules and generations of docility bred into the society that the droids are the closest thing to a "threat" the people see. I don't know anyone that actually watched this show and thought the droids were any kind of threat. I've now watched other videos about this show and the big criticism is that the show isn't "episodic" enough for these "reviewers". Not sure where these people have been but most TV shows since 2013, that aren't on the big 4 networks or aren't comedies, are these non-episodic long form stories. It's not new and it's not bad and it shouldn't come up in a review. Yet when I watch a KZbin video about "Things you missed in..." whatever TV show I've been watching and for at least the past 5 years it somehow always turns into a review of the episode and then someone brings up the whole "I wish this episode had its own story blah blah blah...". Each episode does have its own story but that story is connected to the episode before and the episode after, it's not hard to figure out. Also I'm not talking about @EmergencyAwesome because this channel is one of the few that I haven't heard this BS brought up. Anyways how a show is split up in episodes, how long an episode is, or how it's released I.e. weekly or all at once(the worst way to release a show) should never go into a review or the discourse of the quality of a show.

Thanks Charlie! I just watched the episode but I was confused by the ending. Two ships in one, eh. It makes sense that the inner ship is cleaner than the outer ship because the outer hull would get all the damage while the inner one stays nice and clean. It's also great for cover because the other ship looks like a junk ship. The security droids on At Attin are strong relative to At Attin. On that planet, nothing can stand up to them. But the rest of the Galaxy would laugh at those droids. At Attin is a peaceful planet and the people don't have weapons. That's why the droids can rule them. I bet the supervisor on At Attin is the previous Pirate Captain of the ship. He just decided to stay there. I don't know how he is still alive though.

I mean, Tak Rennod literally said in his hologram monologue last week that he up-armored the ship's hull and retrofitted it specifically for this expedition to At Attin. Granted I wasn't expecting it to be a Matroshka Doll, but as soon as they got caught in the trash incinerator and they were freaking out in the cockpit I knew where this was going with the hull detonator thing. Everything so far in this show has been said or done with a purpose that pays off some point later. The writers are doing a great job compared to certain other SW shows... looking at you Kenobi & Acolyte, and to an extent BoBF. The previous Onyx Cinder captain being the Supervisor is a dumb theory, I stand by that statement.

If we're going to extremely loosely adapt certain points of the original Thrawn Trilogy narrative, I can definitely see this happening. Instead of the legendary lost Old Republic Katana Fleet, this version hinges on his campaign getting his hands on this legendary Old Republic Mint. Makes sense, wonder if that's where they're headed with these shows. I wouldn't be disappointed if that's not how it plays out, but I like this idea.

Unless the supervisor, whoever or whatever it may be, has been embezzling the credits off world, there would still be a pretty large sum on the planet. At least within circulation for the citizens since they deal in those credits as lunch money as well.

I'd be surprised if his powers are that developed, but it's possible. His natural charisma seems to be doing a lot of heavy lifting. You have to imagine he still had some friends among the crew, like the old man he ran into after going back to the pirate base to get SM-33.

It could definitely be interpreted that way, I was also wondering whether that may be what happened there. However I lean more toward the show emphasizing Jod taking the Pirate Code seriously, and he knew that lady also took the Code seriously so she would be the one to say something. There was a reason we saw Jod invoke the Code last episode and then have it brought up again here. He might be a scoundrel but he believes in some set of values at least, order among chaos or some phrase like that.
