Also, some people said they didn't understand why the armorer changed her mind so quickly. She didn't. When Bo told her she saw the Mythosaur, alive, she was kinda shocked. My guess is she thought "Well, we thought Mandalor was cursed, the mythosaur extinct and that was a lie. So if they were wrong about that they could be wrong about everything, so they have to try to unite and live all together. I think she asked Bo to remove her helmet not to push her to go away and find the others, but to show she could still be a part of the team even by removing her helmet and that her fate was to be more than being just a member of their covert. That they could all live together even if they don't share the same "religion".

I actually think there's a distinction between Beskar and Beskar Alloy that was scanned by the probe. The Beskar Alloy was mentioned in Season 2 as part of the Dark Trooper armour, but unlike pure Beskar it wasn't fully resistant against lightsabers. Part of the reason Luke could easily slash his way through the entire force of Dark Troopers was the alloy was Resistant to lightsaber attacks but not Immune to them like Din Djarin's armour. I think it was actually to say "Someone else had Dark Troopers in reserve to save Gideon, because we saw them fly through vacuum in the big battle at the end of S2." Which further pays off the comment early in this season about whoever was attacking Bo Katan's home having way more ships than is normal for an Imperial Warlord. Which naturally makes us all think of Thrawn.

I was thinking the same thing with the dark troopers!! But also, Moff Gideon did hold the darksaber at one point and also spent a lot of time on Mandalor so it's not inconceivable that he could have some Mandalorian followers on his side. I definitely don't think the Night Owls had anything to do with his escape tbh. It could definitely be a plant job/bait and switch to set up the Mandalorians and keep the New Republic busy focusing on them instead of the Empire. That is def within Thrawn's wheelhouse as he loves turning groups who should be allies against one another. Maybe it was Gideon who thought to do this but I honestly don't know enough about him at this point to determine if this might be his MO or not. Super excited to see what's next!! I feel like at this point, we have seen all the episodes that were used as clips in the trailers we have got so far so we haven't seen anything about what's coming next yet. Can't wait for next Wednesday!! Great video!

My immediate thought when seeing the wreckage was dark troopers, it just gives off the specific vibe of dark troopers to me

Its true that there is a distinction between the two. Its very likely that Dark troopers or a variant of storm trooper with beskar was used in extracting Gideon. However to the New Republic it won't care. They only know that Beskar is primarily a Mandalorian material used exclusively by mandalorians. To them they won't bother to take the time to find a difference. The New Republic pilots being more prone to explore and find answers might want to find out with the Mandalorians themselves, but New Republic might send a actual military response to apprehend Mandalorians for a crime they haven't committed but hey the NR just wants to make sure.

The Armorer was describing herself and Bo Katan when discussing the two forges. One elaborate and one simple yet both serve the same purpose. Both have one goal. That was her lead in to the two of them needing to unite for a common Mandalor.

Katee Sackhoff's acting was so good in the scene without her helmet facing the rest of the CotW Mandalorians. Her expressions portrayed Bo Katan feeling exposed / naked when being seen without her helmet rather than when Bo Katan was being introduced in the previous season. It really shows how her character has developed over this arc. I also love the part where they add on to the Manda"LORE" of CotW culture with the needing to hold the hammer to address the group scene.

This episode was SOOOO AWESOME!!!!!! There was not missed beat. The story built up to the climax fight, then the big reveal of how Moff Gidean escaped. And the Armorer was such a bad ass again. I was crying with delight.

All the Mandalorian Culture Building is great for the show and SWs Lore. All the Callbacks from previous seasons was a nostalgic. The slow build up allows for more seasons and a better set up for the end game. I love the Mandalorian Culture all their scenes give me GOT The North Vibes. Paz Vizsla stepped up and showed his Mandalorian Loyalty. The Mandalorian takeover is upon us, with Bo searching for other Mandalorians and Clans im hoping we see Fenn Rau, Opal Jexx, Tristan Wren and others! Great Season so far for the Mandalorians.

Seeing Zeb was so sick! Rebels is such a great show and it's cool to see Dave and Jon getting those characters into the show. If I had to guess I think that the next hint towards Thrawn will be his tie defenders. Shields and hyperdrives, they can give the n1 a run for its money. Great video as always! :)

Rebels was snooze fest in comparison to Clone Wars. And Zeb was kind of a dumb character too, though I will admit they did a good job transforming his character from cg cartoon to live action. Much better job than Cad Bane.

@@Cheeseshredder I'd say Zeb was one of the more enjoyable new characters from Rebels in terms of character development and having a relatable sense of humor. Of course, that's not necessarily saying much as they were some of the more bland Star Wars characters in general, and Zeb and Ezra aside the character development was pretty shallow. Zeb did have an enjoyable arc thinking he was the last of his people and on a revenge mission, then having to balance that with the reality that there was a whole planet of them still alive, etc. His interactions with Kallus were also very enjoyable.

I can’t get over how much everything just kind of blew me away. The Z cameo was awesome the whole thing about. Bo walking to pass and you could tell she was hesitant when she told to take off her helmet. I’m just super excited to see more Mandalorians and maybe we will see Sabine and Asoka again along with other Mandalorian’s who knows I’m just super hyped and curious what’s going to happen next along with the Ahsoka series coming out next fall let’s go.

I saw the beskar as being parts of Dark Troopers [will have to rewatch to hear exactly what he said but the shape was consistent at first glance]. Obviously, there were more Dark Troopers than those on Gideon's ship. Testing prototypes you don't put all of them in one basket, you use a group and keep the rest in reserve. Loved your breakdown & the ep! Twists and turns and "shot first" was awesome!

I think…. Dr. Pershing was not only working on the clone project. I think he was also working on other projects. He had knowledge of the dark troopers in the Season 2 finale. He might have also been working on a project to use beskar on the dark troopers.

These episodes just get better and better. Gideon may be working with some Mandalorians, but Gideon is also the one that stole most of the beskar on Mandalor, so he doesn't have to be working with them. I am pretty sure that Mando will be traveling with Bo Katan to reunite the Mandalorians. She walks in both worlds, but mando is the one that rightfully wields the Darksaber. Mandalorians unwilling to follow Bo Katan because of who she is, may well be willing to follow Mando. I am not sure I completely agree that Elia Kane was sent to infiltrate the New Republic. She was captured so it is unlikely she was given that mission prior to be captured. It's possible Imperial spies working for Gideon or Thrawn contacted her during her rehabilitation and gave her a mission. But it seems just as possible that she is acting on her own initiative in furtherance of what she sees as Imperial interests. But it is clear her loyalty is NOT to the New Republic.

Best episode of Season 3 by far! Holy hell, this was glorious. Bringing back Elia Kane from my least favorite episode here really sets up something that is coming, and it's big. The entire Nevarro action sequence was incredible. It was like something out of a war movie. Every portion of that battle is like it could've been in a movie. That, in my opinion, is why streaming is a nice balance. The twists with Paz Vizsla agreeing to help Mando and The Armorer believing in Bo-Katan to lead Mandalore was something I didn't expect. The post-credit tease of who freed Moff Gideon is intriguing. Can't wait to see how the final 3 episodes of Season 3 play out. *This is the way*

cant remember her name but the woman that Asoka fought had a Beskar spear and i think season 1 it was said by the guy that originally hired Mando said the empire had taken all the Beskar, So its not a hard stretch to say the empire has spare Beskar as they don't know how to forge it or how important it is

A few things I noticed but not sure if it means anything is when they invaded Nevarro the Mando's knew it was a trap only after the lizards yelled and pointed where the pirates were hiding, when they all were given land all the Mandalorians put their arms to their chest but Bo and Din didn't do it, only nodded. Also when the armorer was telling Bo that she can bring them all together she steps into the light, I feel like it shows that she has a change of heart and is finally not seeing the narrow view like she did before. Again idk if any of that was meant to mean something but I haven't seen anyone talk about it yet

Bo Katan without helmet at the end of the episode being embraced by the group is a sign that a new era is beginning. It’s symbolic and I’m here for it. Can’t wait for the next episode.

I absolutely love the twist that BOTH Armorer and Heavy Mando took Dinn's side. Fact is I'm so stoked they're ACTUALLY giving everyone enough common sense to see its happening. Fact is I love that and wish I called it sooner simply because those little petty spats are just breezed over FOR the better plots to come.

Hey @Emergency Awesome, I've got another Easter Egg for you (sort of): @13:20 discussing Mando holding the Armorer's hammer, that's a callback to the book *'Lord Of The Flies' (1954)* ; it's _the conch_ in that story, the object held by the person who had the right to speak during an assembly; a very famous symbol in literature (likely even used in much older stories or true history.)

I've got admit, at first my thought was that it is a rogue group of Mando's helping Moff Gideon. But I'm leaning more to he planted that to distract the Mandalorian's and the New Republic. It tracks because Gideon knows that if he can pit two of the Empire's strongest adversaries against one another, they will be weaker for it and the Gideon/Thrawn led faction can just come in and sweep house. It even sounds like a strategy Thrawn would employ! I was a bit surprised at the Armorer/Bo Katan interaction. The Armorer is essentially saying "You are to be the herald of the new Mandalorian age!". It was a good surprise to be sure. I saw no ill will from Mando (Din) because he just wants to be with Grogu and couldn't care less for leadership or the Dark Saber. Mando comes off more as a loyal soldier but Bo has always had leadership skills (as we've seen in "The Clone Wars" and "Rebels") The cameo by Zeb only tells me that WE WILL see Sabine Wren make a cameo in the last episode along with Thrawn. The Ahsoka series is supposed to continue after The Mandalorian so we already know they will reference that. In fact, when The Armorer proclaims that Bo Katan will go out and unite the other clans, I immediately realized that meant she will most likely look for Sabine as well as her Night Owl clan first. I also believe that these clans and others will make a big scene in the final episode of the season, it does feel like we're heading that direction.

This episode gave me something I had been wanted since the start of the series, and was teased by the alluding to in the past few episodes. That thing is the Mandolorians working together to kick ass, and for the entire creed to become reoccurring characters.

For the past few episodes, at the beginning when showed all the helmets, at the end there was a Mandalorian helmet that had the Sith red light flashed on it, signaling the evil and it made me theorize that someone in the The Watch was going to betray Din. So even though I’m wrong this episode still piqued got me going.

I thought the bomber flight jacket Teva wore while on Coruscant was a nice touch. Unless you were military, grew up military (me) or into that type of thing, I’m not sure how many people see the WWII type reference. Yeah, they still have them, but the war was just a few years ago, so it’s harkening back to it. Not sure how many people caught that.

Moff Gideon may have legitimately been taken by Mandalorians because of what happened to Mandalore. Maybe they didn't trust the new republic to bring him to justice and decided to do it themselves

I think that it was some kind of false clue. Maybe there are rogue Mandolorians, but I think that Beskar Steel shard was left on purpose to create animosity between the New Republic and Mandolorians. I believe that there are other infilitrators besides Elia Kane. Elia Kane didn't target Dr. Pershing, just to get ahead. Setting up any other former Empire personal would have accomplished that. Since Dr. Pershing's cloning skills would be useful to the remenants of the Empire, I think she wants to radicalized him into hating the New Republic, which is why she targeted him instead of some other "former" Empire personel. Radicalize him against the New Republic, and he joins the First Republic willingly.

I think the Mandalorians that freed Moff Gideon are Bo-Katans people who left her. I do not have a theory as to why but that is the feeling I get from this. I think its them because her castle got blown up and they gave away the location of it.

A pair of deep cuts. Paz Vizla carries a gatling gun blaster on his back. Reminds me of Jesse "The Body" Ventura and former Governor of Minnesota in the original #Predator classic film firing the electric mini-gun. #CarlWeathers was in #Predator as well. Yes two actors from #Predator became Governors. The #SpacePirate ship, the #Corsair has gun turrets fashioned after the glass gun turrets on US WWII bombers, like the B-17 and B-25. The gunner sits in the glass turret and it spins with foot controls, while firing twin machine guns to defend against enemy fighters. The turrets are all around the bomber, top and bottom, forward and aft. That is where the term "tail gunner" comes from. Of course, the turret idea was copied in the famous scenes on the #MilleniumFalcon gun turret while shooting down #TieFighters. We have come full circle.

What are your thoughts on the darksaber? Will that eventually become an ISSUE between the mandalorians and our main mando? I'm not sure if they ever told the other mandolorians about him holding that? Would that not splinter their faction?

I think Bo might be in name walk both worlds, but i think in reality Mando has made more outside connections and will still end up uniting people. We shall see though. (also Mando convinced everyone to help AND he was looked to when Bo was suggested to unite people.

I think they're referring to the different sects of Mandolorians, in this case. In which case, Din knows nothing as we saw when he first met Bo Katen and the Night Owls. Din was cloistered with his group, and has no real connections to any other groups. No, Boba Fett doesn't count as he isn't exactly part of the surviving Mandolorian culture, either. Bo Katen on the other hand is going to be familiar to almost any surviving Mandolorians since she was the last leader of their homeworld before the Empire destroyed it.

I think Gideon will infiltrate mandalore group and challenge Bo leadership, with of course defeated dinjdarin to take his black saber first. It was teased in opening where there one mandalore helmet shining red, like other vilian helmet in those opening.
