An Incredible Hulk trilogy would have been a dream come true. What they have done with my favorite superhero since childhood is depressing, making him take photos and do yoga.😪😭😭😥. Hey, Charlie❤. Long time subscriber here since 2017. Since we are on the topic of what could have been in terms of the Incredible Hulk, wouldn't it have been incredible if they actually did do a Hulk trilogy and we would of seen Blonsky/Abomination be a member of the Thunderbolts. Imagine a fight between Abomination and Sentry. He would've been the only member being able to face him head-on and not die. I can just imagine Red Gaurdian asking Blonsky what kind of super soldier serum he got. Seeing Abomination face against Sentry would have done so much justice to the character and not how they made him fight Wong nor how they presented him in She-Hulk. It's crazy to think of that John Walker and Blonksy have kind of a similar story. Both served the U.S. nation, both were recruited for super soldier serum, both got corrupted with power, the latter on a greater scale than the former. Abomination being involved in the Thunderbolts would have made me so much more hyped for the movie than I already am. Also, Incredible Hulk is not the worst phase 1 movie, and as a die-hard Hulk fan since childhood, I can imagine Incredible Hulk 2 and 3 being able to rival Captain america Winter soldier and Civil war.

This video just came out at the right time for me. I just re-watched, "The Incredible Hulk" (2008) and it holds up really well 16 years later. Edward Norton might be a favorite actor to play Bruce Banner. I'm glad elements from that movie have slowly crept back into the MCU as there was a lot of story potential for that film. I'm very curious to see Liv Tyler as Betty Ross return and the Leader make his official debut in the MCU. Seeing Tim Blake Nelson come back to Dr. Sterns will hopefully pay off the long wait. Also, RIP to William Hurt. He was a really good General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross and was great in his bit parts throughout the MCU. Good luck Harrison Ford! 🤞#HULLKSMASH!

About the AOS canonicity question that people have, in my opinion (which could be proven false by marvel) there is no way that AOS can possibly take place in the MCU. The way the MCU is framed is that it's one singular universe up until Endgame / Loki, and anything or anyone that affects the MCU from outside the universe or using time travel can only do so before 2023 if what they do does not deviate the reality or *branch* it off from the rest of the timeline, which is why Deadpool in Deadpool & Wolverine for instance is able to appear in the MCU during 2018, because he does not do anything significant enough to cause a nexus point. AOS, during the same time period features our characters traveling to a possible future with a destroyed earth and then returning and preventing that possibility from occurring in their own timeline, which was in 2018 or 2019 if I'm not mistaken. This is a HUGE event, that shows not only another universe (the future destroyed earth one) but also that they can then change it in their universe without the TVA showing up and pruning them and their reality out of existence. Which tells me that it is a branched 616 reality that occurs after the Loki show happens, which explains the TVA's change in methodology and also other continuity issues like for instance the Darkhold looking completely different in the show vs how it appears in both wandavision and in MoM.

Hulk vs Wolverine should be an Alpha Flight movie early in the Mutant Saga. It shows Wolverine being taken in by the team post Weapon X and his familial relationship with the Hudsons. You have cool supporting characters like Sasquatch, Puck, Shaman and Snowbird as well as the mutant twins Aurora and Northstar. Could organically do alot of world building as far as supersoldiers (Weapon H, Project Rebirth) and mutants (Weapon X) in the rebooted MCU. This could then set the stage for Wolverine quitting Alpha Flight and either joining the X--Men directly after or a Weapon X project or series prior to being recruited to the X-Men.

I always thought it was obvious that Agents of Shield and even the Netflix shows were cannon to the MCU because literally in the first episode of Daredevil they mention the events of the first Avengers movie and with something like Agents of Shield they’re literally following the same storylines from the movies. And a show like Agent Carter was literally a prelude to the entire MCU post the events of the first Captain America movie. I just always figured that they couldn’t or wouldn’t use those characters in the movies.

They might do Avengers vs X-Men eventually too, which is a huge opportunity to make a Hulk vs Wolverine segment, without it being its own movie. They also might do a reboot after Secret Wars, which also means they can introduce a younger Hulk, since be honest, Mark Ruffalo is already going towards his 60s, so they need to recast him eventually anyways, so no better time to bring in younger Hulk, Abomination and Red Hulk actors than after Secret Wars as well. This might also be the reason we aren't getting an X-Men movie before Secret Wars, that way they can bring in the older X-Men actors/actresses and let them go out with a bang, like Patrick Stewart isn't getting any younger, neither are Ian McKellen and Kelsey Grammar for that matter.

I think a cool way to introduce the new Wolverine (when they are ready to do so, because we all know they will eventually have to replace Hugh) would be in a World War Hulk type movie. Pay homage to the introduction of Wolverine through Hulk like the comics. There is some hope coming down the line. Universal is trying to start up an 80s action TV show universe starring Airwolf, Knight Rider, The six million Dollar man, and a few others that they were trying to get the rights to. However I believe Disney has the rights to one of the things Universal wants to use in their joined universe. Now they'll probably start the universe with stuff they own while negotiating, but it's quite possible that they could make a switch with Disney to gain full rights to whatever they're trying, I think it's the 6 million dollar man, in exchange for Disney getting the full rights back to the hulk. Now this is just my conjecture I'm not sure. But it seems like there is quite a bit there for them to switch off on. Not to mention I think there was another movie franchise that they both owned together the universal wants to move forward to, but I'm not remembering it off the top of my head. So if there is enough in the mix for Universal to get two or three franchises that they could use in exchange, they might be able to switch, they might want to switch Hulk out... Oh now I remember, it's serenity and Firefly. I believe Universal and Disney both on the rights to that as well and Universal is trying to get the full rights so they can bring out a set of movies.

It's not just Hulk. I think they'll will start to reel back most of legacy characters after Secret Wars. Hey, EmergencyAwesome, Hulk really is a missed opportunity. It would have made so much sense, if snapping his fingers with the infinity stones would have had a different effect on Hulk. Banner even said that the radiation the infinity stones were emitting was mostly gamma, that would've have been the perfect opportunity to introduce Maestro Hulk into the MCU. Seeing Maestro Hulk (One of the most powerful versions of Hulk in the comics) face 2014 pre-infinity stone blood thirsty Thanos would have been the fight of the movie.
