they can still pay it off by having the Celestial that comes to destroy Earth be Galactus instead of a regular Celestial. So they can still have their Eternals 2 but have it be AFTER the Secret Wars. And maybe in Eternals 2 have most of the cast be killed off, that way you remove the Eternals from the MCU(and also would give Galactus that big bad world threatening level villain look)

The Eternals should have been a Disney+ series so we could spend more time with each member of the team. It was hard to connect with them all in one movie and seeing more background or the their time apart and what they did in history would have been pretty neat. I have a very strong and cool scene stuck in my head for Druig and Hitler. But I digress. I was super excited to see what was coming for The Eternals with Erishim and his judgement.

The eternals should’ve gotten a 2 part movie, a Disney plus series would’ve had to make cuts somewhere, cast, cgi, locations. They needed a proper sequel to explain further of the lore, Thanos and Eros are brothers and are eternals with deviant genes in the comics. They could’ve added another layer of thanos motivations

@ in my head, the way of thinking is the series establishes the Eternals so we can get to know them and actually connect with their characters. There’s too many characters for us to care about in the movie. We need more time with them and a series helps that. I digress, It ends where the movie ended with Eros showing up teasing Thanos. Next we get the movie showing our Heroes with Erishim and his judgement on their actions, more Thanos and crazy Celestial battles. That’s my opinion.

Captain America’s shield is the only known object made of an alloy of the two metals, making it uniquely indestructible. And how is Earth going to mine on Knowhere? And would its present (or past) management agree to that? They said Knowhere was valuable because of Celestial brain matter; they never mentioned Adamantium (probably since Marvel didn’t have rights to the name st the time, and why Cap’s shield is ONLY Vibranium in the MCU!

I loved the Eternals, their lore is one of my favourites. I was so excited when the movie finally came I went to see it on the first day of release. It's one of the few things I did at the time with the pandemic going on. It was a bit disappointing how they handled it but the visuals were great. I'm so sad they cancelled it, I hope if Marvel survives that long they will bring them back in a future phase after all the mutant plotlines.

Bob Iger said at the recent shareholders meeting that Marvel was going to concentrate on less content and better quality. He literally pointed to Deadpool and Wolverine as an example. It could be possible for the Eternals story to continue, but include other characters. The main idea I've heard that could work well is including Star Lord, seeing as he's a Celestial, and could offer testimony to the others. His character would make an interesting contrast to the Eternals, with his inaccurate memories of Earth and their experiences being there for millennia. Plus his interactions with Starfox would be interesting, with the leftover drama with Thanos/Gamora. It would even be cool to include Nebula with him, just to give him a travel buddy, and more great interactions. Another idea is to make the story revolve around Galactus and include the fantastic four. Like Galactus is a rogue celestial who goes Cannibal and eats other celestials before they emerge. He goes after Earth because he doesn't realize that the celestial died, he just thinks it's about to emerge. That would make it interesting seeing Galactus' Heralds fighting the Eternals, while the trial is commencing.

We were probably going to get an explanation of how thanos and eros were experimental eternals that went off course of their programming. Snapping half the universe away so that recourses can be properly managed by the surviving people sounds like a way to sidestep the Celestials emergence throughout the entire universe

I actually woulda liked a sequel to Eternals. I actually think it woulda been better as a series though instead of a movie. That being said, I don't really know what they would have done a movie/series on that would have been interesting and worth while. Learning more about Thanos is cool and all, but that wouldn't be enough for a whole movie. Especially considering he's dead and won't be a character in the movie. Plus we've done him already. They already killed off the Deviants, and there's no way they can take on the Celestials either. The Black Knight I still wanna see in something. I don't mind seeing him going on some quest to try and find Sersi but he would probably work better in a Midnight Sun's type series. Put him with Punisher, Daredevil, Blade and a few other characters. I wanna see more Celestial related stuff too.

I didn’t like the Eternals bc it felt so disjointed, but seeing that as the groundwork for a larger cosmic story would’ve been cool. I really like the quirky cosmic side of Marvel and GOTG is among my favorite MCU movies. Seeing an Eternals War as Avengers 5 and 6 would’ve been amazing, and far better than the Multiverse Saga crap we have now.

I can see them playing roles in other movies no problem. Makari, Druig and Thena can run into guardians of the galaxy in space and Phastos, cersey and kingo can play some role in secret wars. As for Black Knight, he can be in the Blade movie and later on the midnight sons if we ever get that. But it is a shame I like Eternals a lot and I think that the sequel would be received better because people were bitching mainly about two things, pacing which would be better this time as we would not have that many flashbacks to history and the other thing that people did not like was that there were too many characters which did not get proper development (which was never problem for anyone in x-men movies for some reason) and that issue would no longer be there since we would have not 10 but only 6 eternals this time.
