I think Tek Knight actually has powers here, he referred to the Dean as lesser, human. His powers seem to just be increased senses but apparently he makes it work. Cate is definitely the betrayer. I believe Luke’s visions were in part because of Cate’s powers, memories from a lifetime of seeing Sam in these Vought facility removed and coming back all at once. Cate has risked her life with the security guards to save Andre but…Nothing was stopping this guard from telling his bosses what happened. Cate has been doing the do with Andre not because they’re both struck with grief but because she’s been instructed to distract and keep them away from the truth. This leads into my final theory. Cate doesn’t need to touch someone to use her powers, it’s all in the eyes. This is more or less because of how smart it would be to fake limitations with mental abilities because you can’t see them being used. Lures people into a false sense of security. Additionally some people in the last episode gained more proficiency with their powers. Marie was able to control blood inside of someone, and Emma grew big.

I agree with the Cate theory. She has been sus to me since the first episode. I found it weird that her and golden boy visited the woods, and then when he started freaking out about it years later, she acted like they didnt. She didnt help goldenboy and she didnt really help Andre until after his plan was screwed. I might remember wrong, but when she and Andre were talking about what happened, Cate did not explain to him that she had been down there already. Cherry on top is the weird love triangle they got, could be that goldenboy was gay and Bourke had him with her for rankings. Either way she has been sus and analysis wise it seems like she disappears whenever characters do “hero” shit. First time I really see her get involved and we have this time skip. This brand is so good that I wouldnt be surprised if this is all red herring for another character lol. Regardless, something is fucking with their brains. Sam is made to look like hes hearing voices, but golden boy heard them too. It looks like Sam made him hear that stuff, but I highly doubt that after seeing the drive in sesame video.

I do feel that tek knight might have some powers as he does throw out that line to the dean saying she’s just a human. Not sure if he would say that to her if he was human too and not a supe. She also made it seem like he could beat up supes he interrogated in the past. Not sure if a human would be able to do that. Lastly, there's no way a human would be able to detect Andre was sleeping with Cate by smelling someone, that's like super human senses.

​​@@raymondsims7042Buffy is pretty much the mother of all the young adult fantasy series that came after And holds up well The show has strong character arcs , unique dialogue , great acting and foreshadowing which makes it great for rewatches The show has been studied in universitys too I would suggest you watch but know that the show became popular in pop culture because of what happens in season 2 which was a big improvement on season 1, the show lasting 7 seasons also means it has a definitive ending and wasn't cancelled Season 1 is only 13 episodes The journeys the characters go after season 1 is amazing. A lot of characters are super memorable too. The show has some comedic elements but gets pretty dark I think watching clips won't work because the dialogue is very unique and snappy but it works in the context of the world created in the show I'd go as far as to say if a writer intends to write television in particular fantasy and how to do long term arcs they should watch the show Nothing is perfect yes but there are so many things to learn from the show

Ten Knight's mannerisms and the whole larger than life is similar to Tony Stark's while the Investigative journalism aspect of his character is definitely derived from Batman's Greatest Detective moniker. Honestly, this version of the character better suits the world of the Boys. Though... I do think a Playboy billionaire tech guru supe would be cool in this universe too. Also, they made him a supe in this version. The whole intuitive abilities he has and his arrogant comment about the dean being disposable because she's human. Definitely could be a set up for Homelander's future.

Tek Knight is my favorites from The Boys and I can’t wait to see more of him plus this episode was pretty fkin awesome with all the characters development including brutal action scenes I love how everyone getting duos like Sam and Emma, Marie and Jordan, and Andre and Cate can’t wait for more episodes plus Cate has been really off with me tho but ik that betrayal will be a gut wrenching. Why do you think Tek Knight isn't a sup? They say in the show that he graduated from GU and he threatens to rip Cate's hand off and she was terrified by that. Sups are almost all durable with some degree of enhanced strength. They would fear some human ripping body parts off.

Like I figured Kates a double agent! Kate may not have to touch you to use her power just have her hand uncovered. Even during the Tek Knight interview he told Kate to keep her gloves on. After rewatching Gen V i can confidently Predict, Kate is the one who is creating the time fractuation thingy. She is the one one doing it since she is in bed with the vought. I think also Dean Shetty is gonna die at end of this season but she will be killed after vought realise she somehow some way helped Jordan and Marie group solve something. Also on golden boy story, He might come back and i think he will be the main antagonist at some point in the show.This particular theory is different coz Patrick is a very 'famous' character to just appear in support roles. Anyways cant wait for the sho's next episode.
