Jensen Ackles is always excellent, in whatever he does. And I know he has been having a blast doing this show. He's a big fan of Kripke and loves working with him. I wouldn't be upset is Homelander does not appear in the final episodes, I think the kids have been doing fine without him. It would be fun to see Huey and the gang showing up tho'. I wonder if Sam has the power to power boost other supes, or if its something else because they were brothers. An interesting puzzle.

I don't think they're implying Andre was born with Magneto powers -- I think it could be that people's genetics determine what the Compound V will do to them, so his powers manifested very similar to his father's, because of their relatedness.

Andre and Translucents kid were just given compound V as a baby. Genetics probably effects how compound V manifest, which is why they have the same powers as their parents. The whole reason Ryan is a big deal is because he was born with powers without compound V injections of any kind.

I think the diseased girl is still alive. In the promo footage we see the pimples and boils all over her walking out of a cell, it could be that she isn't dead but just in a resting state of hibernation while her body attempts to fight off the infection. We're forgetting that supes are also still human, and as humans if we have super powers we probably also have super immune systems and the like. Maybe she evolves past it and becomes even stronger than she was before? It's all in the realm of possibility.

They say in season 3 of The Boys that Ryan is the first naturally born Supe, and Andre is way older than he is, there’s no way they would say that if Andre was born with his powers, like everyone else he was dosed with Compound V at birth, and it’s just a coincidence that they ran with that he has the same powers as his dad.

Well... You must consider the racism aspect. Captain America wasn't the first one from America... It was tested on Black men... Then later Steve Rogers was called Captain America after it had been perfected. That's why Ryan is considered "The first" when he's actually not. Marvel has always been a way to show the bad of reality and say "Look at this, kinda messed up" They had a gay character in the 1930's... He wasn't popular. They've always pushed for left values. Be it clean with Steve Rogers and Professor X or dirty with Frank Castle and Magneto Just different extremes and speeds, same goals.

I think what powers you get have to do with genetics. His dad passed on whatever genes made him have his powers to Andre. When Kimiko loses her powers and then takes the V again she gets the same powers, so I’m willing to bet it’s genetics.
