did you notice that teen didnt use his powers on agatha but instead he used the other witches but then he used his powers on them. i think its because if he used it on agatha she would have stolen his power edit: more proof of this is that agatha was trying to make him attack her. you can see she was trying to provoke him by calling him a "pet" and saying "are you sure" and "your just like your mother". we also saw her smirking when she saw his powers manifested so so she definitely was trying to get him to use his powers on her so she could steal it. he probably noticed that and thats why he controlled the other witches to do his work before using his powers on them.

Remember when Lilia said, "save Agatha" and "Alice don't" on two separate occasions a few episodes ago. I think she meant "Alice don't save Agatha" because she saw what happened if she did save her! With every ep, this show just gets better, can't wait to see ep6 also, that Wiccan reveal was so badass, and with that song!! Just jumped from excitement!!! I think Agatha was telling the truth that she cant control her power fully snd its connected to her dead son. Its like an automatic thing when she is touch by anothers magic. Think Rogue, but with magic. So if she wants to, she can instigate someone into hitting her with magic, but on the flip side, she cannot be touch with magic in a positive way, like protection magic. I think her young son may have used a positive form of magic on her and she couldn't stop her power from taking all his magic/life. So when his spirit yells for her to stop, that is actually what happened when he died.

I think everyone has it wrong about Agatha and the Darkhold. I think she started using the Darkhold to figure out how to bring Nicholas back. That’s why she breaks character in WandaVision “you can do that?” That’s why she wants Wanda’s power. So she can resurrect Nicholas. I think that’s going to be her whole arc

I think the sigil broke the moment Agatha said she knew who he was because the sigil breaks when it is no longer needed, right? I also think it was Billy himself who put the sigil on. Agatha said it looked like an amateur as well as that the one who placed the sigil wouldn't know. I also believe that the credits hint to how Billy exists. Joe Locke's name appears over a newspaper article about someone barely surviving. I bet a young boy almost died around the time Wanda's hex fell and Billy's soul went into the body, essentially reincarnating

In the trailers, there's a clip of Alice getting up off the floor that we haven't seen yet. The same spot where she "died." I also think Agatha's trial was to relive all her traumas. Starting with her mother, to the coven, to Nicholas. So I think her trial is still ongoing and reality is being messed with as it's confirmed this is Billy. He starts every trial and warps their outfits and eras just like his mother did. Agatha's seen this type of magic before, and that's how she knew. He may choose to walk the road himself bc he still wants his mother back. Was just testing these women and found them to be not "worthy." As they all kinda moved on from Alice like she was collateral damage. But also Rio was originally a green witch and is shown to have healing powers as well. So when the orange power flickered out of Agatha's hand, I wonder if it was being returned to the original owner. And that's where Rio really was. Bc Agatha never finished her off fully. Billy interrupted her by saying "Nicholas Scratch." Just some food for thought.

​@@jaegrmeister Assumed yes, but not established. Agatha assumed that because Rio said her heart was black. It's by no means confirmed. Besides, Lilia has repeatedly been doing and saying things to protect others from Agatha, like 'save Agatha' then 'Alice, don't'. We now know it was reversed and she was trying to warn Alice not to save Agatha. Lilia wrote the black heart when she was under her power. She meant for Billy to be on that list - not Rio. Hence his black heart earring. There is another interpretation though. For all we know, Billy is being used by Rio and the earring is her way of marking him. The bottom line is that everything in this show is there for a reason. There is NO chance that Lilia drawing a black heart, Rio saying her heart was black, and Teen/Wiccan wearing a black heart earring, are coincidences. One way or the other, they are linked.

I think he did the sigil to himself to befriend Agatha and protect his identity, making sure she would bring him to the road (maybe he wants to use the road to help his family). Then when she finds out who he is, the sigil is no longer needed and billy gets his memories and powers back. Having achived his goal to reach the road, he gets rid of the coven as it's no longer needed.

i think she both can AND can’t control her magic. idk if it makes sense but I think she can control it in the sense that she has to activate it to continue syphoning the magic from a witch, just like what she did to alice. You can see her doing hand movements that made her drain alice even more. As for the can’t control part, I think what happens is that once she gets that kick of sucking the magic of others, her logic goes away completely, like she just gets high on it. This could even be somewhat of an allegory to addiction as she’s always been greedy for power like she quite literally cant get enough of it. So far, all of the problems that the other witches faced were reflection of real-life issues so agatha’s might be the same: >> Jen being bound by a NON-MAGIC user -> her getting trauma, which caused her to literally lock/bind a certain part of herself, which is true for a lot of abuse victims with trauma. >> Alice’s curse passed down to all the women in her family -> probably the most obvious, this is clearly a metaphor for generational trauma. additional: her being labeled evil by her mother could also even be a metaphor for homophobia.

I have a feeling we're getting the full cast back in the next episode or so, in Death's dimension. The little subtle nods that Rio is Death are pretty cool: not being afraid when terrible things are happening, the "I was in the neighborhood" line when she got summoned bc Mrs Hart just died. Its really interesting. Rio hating ghosts makes sense too bc they won't go with her. Fun stuff.

I think this ability of hers is an automatic self-defense. This is what led to her mother getting coven to try take her down, but same happened to her. And Agatha trapped by her ability just became the person she was always gonna be seen as cause no one listens when she saus she didn't mean to. We see them back together in clips, and its Agatha with Billie. I think they'll end up finally listening and realizing truth about Agatha. And i think this blood moon trial was Billie's (Teens). Cause this wasn't a phase of moon and more an extra bit like him.

This episode was so good! My “tinfoil hat” theory is that this episode was a sort of glimpse into Lilia’s visions. She has foreseen many of the manifestations of Billy’s power and consequences of Agatha’s actions. She sees outside of time, and I think we’ll see how she can manipulate the outcomes. In Episode 3, she had the outburst “save Agatha” which to me says that there is a way to reverse Agatha’s ‘gift’. After all the character development we’ve seen from Agatha, this episode honestly surprised me. As did Jennifer’s willingness to sacrifice Agatha after the support that she’s given the coven thus far. It was a great standalone episode, but it feels out of place from the growth of the coven, in my opinion. I don’t think everyone is doomed to the pit of despair, and I’m still in denial that Alice is gone :( so that maaaaay be fueling my desire for this not to be true 😅 But perhaps them (Jennifer, Lilia, and Agatha) being absorbed into the earth will get us to the Earth trial with Rio? I did find the whole 80’s horror genre of the trial to be fitting with the twist ending of the “bad guy” reveal. Very 80’s horror indeed!

@@sarhahillsburg5142 I think Agatha does or did have some control when she was at her peak of power in WandaVision. If you recall Wanda blasted her and knocked her down without Agatha absorbing it. The second blast Agatha begins absorbing Wanda's magic. But I think in this moment the coven turning on Agatha made her feel so powerless, she took the opportunity to get her magic back so she could defend herself. But it could also be instinct that her power hungry nature caused her to take Alice's power and once that link is established Agatha has no control as she has always just absorbed their magic to save herself.

She twists her left hand as if to “grab” at the power and then you see her face change to one of almost hunger and greed. I feel like the initial manifestation of her power was out of her control, but that now she can choose to feed on it. It is likely a compulsion - she is an addict and although she may not have wanted to kill Alice, she wanted power more than anything else and gave into that. I love the idea that this was Billy’s/Teen’s trial! What a great twist 🤩

I don't think this is the first time that Teen's powers manifested. I think he lied to Agatha when he said he wanted power at the end of the road. I think he is looking for something else - maybe his mother's whereabouts? his father's? his twin brother's? He couldn't get into the road on his own and that is why he had to convince Agatha to form a coven. Essentially, though his aim wasn't to hurt the witches in the coven, he was also using them as means to an end. He would have hoped to reach the end of the road with them, but seeing how the coven still seemed selfish and there were already two casualties, I think he'd rather have the other witches sent home - my theory is the bog sends the witches back to the real world.

Here’s what I understood - Rio was collecting the body. The last few minutes where Teen becomes like his “mother” is a vision from Lilia. It came out of nowhere & Agatha’s character switch especially how she responds to Teen is a complete 180 and doesn’t feel authentic. This was definitely a vision and Lilia will probably prevent Alice’s death so Teen doesn’t go full fledge Wiccan on them. Also the writers clued us in on this with the first scene where it felt like it was happening but it was a vision from Lilia.

This sounds plausible but writers often hate making things dreams or visions, as in the writing community, it’s a cop out of storytelling - especially in cliff hangers. I believe this all happened and the aftermath will be in the next episode.

When she started absorbing Alice’s power after she went to help Agatha. It kinda seemed like she has some kinda curse put on her that takes over so she can’t stop feeding until there drained. It did seem like she was remorseful about it. That’s why I’m wondering if by the end when she reaches the end of the road she chooses to get her new coven back including MRS Davis

I think Agatha can't control her magic sucking thing. When someone magic beams her, she just can't stop it until the person dies. That's why Wanda was able to defeat her in WandaVision, she overloaded Agatha, and if agatha could control it she should have just stopped sucking chaos magic. MAYBE it's a curse, that's why death is with her. You know like wherever she goes, theres death. What do you think?

I liked the how he raged out at the end and tried to kill members of the coven, right after he was told he was like his mother. Now people who still complain about Multiverse of Madness see that rage is a part of who the Scarlet Witch is. Billy got some of that rage along with his magical powers as his inheritance. The way she was depicted made sense, especially because she was corrupted by the Darkhold.

@@kellyjaggers8934 it does work, especially because we saw her being manipulated by the Darkhold in the last scene of WandaVision. She's already an emotional being with issues. Her creation of the Hex is one example of that, the loss of her children and Vision (again) with the Darkhold on top of all of that, there's no mystery how we end up with the Wanda we see in Multiverse of Madness. I would think it was a crazy stretch if we get some good, well adjusted Wanda after we see her magically absorbing everything in the Darkhold, especially when we've already been shown multiple times what it does to people.

Even then, she spent that week in a dream world holding a town hostage and got to walk away scott free. I just see how she learned anything or got to properly grieve. If anything her loss was compounded in Westview.

Good point re punishing Agatha. The punishment was making her steal other witches power. I think she cursed herself with the Darkhold trying to become powerful enough to save Nicholas from Death. Death took him anyway,her mother’s coven attacked her then as she can’t stop the curse.

I don’t think Nicholas Scratch was meant to be a sacrifice in Agatha’s quest for the Darkhold, but he was unintended collateral damage. Agatha wasn’t powerful enough to save him and was blamed for his death driving her coven to turn on her for “killing” her own child. Nicholas Scratch is behind this & wants to return to the land of the living by taking Billy’s body & powers, but Agatha has grown attached to Billy who really is an innocent in all this because she knows how Billy came to be. Agatha will have to choose whether to save Billy or her son & she will need all that power again to do so.

Something I haven't seen anyone pick up. When Alice started using her powers to save Agatha, she did so without thinking then looked at her hands in shock realizing, 'oh shit, I got my powers back!' But after Agatha taunted Billy, the only look on his face was cold steel. He casually started drawing his power in his left hand. There was not a second of surprise because he already knew he had this power. This supports my belief that he's the Billy that belongs to the Wanda that Scarlet Witch dreamwalked into in Multiverse of Madness, and he's dreamwalking in Billy Kaplan. That Billy saw Scarlet Witch take over his mom and dreamwalk in her. So when he came into his power, he searched and found the universe Scarlet Witch came from, and when he realized there was no version of him here, he found Billy Kaplan and dreamwalked into him to find our Wanda. He doesn't know she might be dead. Who best to find her? Agatha of course. But she's useless to him without her power, so he convinced her to walk the Witch's Road and get her power back. This Billy knows magic better than any of them. Proof? They can be manipulated into blasting her with power (Alice), but when she tried that on him, he simply controlled the others to throw her in the bog. I think the series ends with Billy looking out over Westview, and as the camera closes in on one of his eyes, it goes in and we see flashes of time and space, until the camera goes back out and we see Billy Maximoff from the alternate universe, sitting cross legged and floating as he dreamwalks in Billy Kaplan.

Im guessing Agatha made a deal with death to get the Darkhold. But when she found out the deal was for her son, she revolted. This means what Rio said was true. She broke Death's heart by betraying her & then Death was ordered to kill Agatha (which she didn't want to do because Agatha showed promise to make such a deal to begin with & kill so many prior to that). So now Death is hunting Agatha as she tries to regain as much power as possible, investigate Wanda's power, revive her son like Wanda, & win against Death.

I think Agatha's punishment was hearing her sons voice and being reminded about what she did trading him for the darkhold, because that is when the trial ended. I am also wondering if at the end of the road the thing that Billy wants the most is to have his mom back and that is how we get Wanda, or if he wants his brother back and that is how we get Tommy.

When she gets summoned she says she was "in the neighborhood", & Mrs. Hart just died. Also notice that she is nowhere to be found while the last events are taking place. The last 3 episodes are likely gonna be in the Underworld or something like it. This is a doorway cliffhanger like the TVA pruning was in Loki

My theory is that Billy put the Sigil on himself. In episode 4, Agatha stated that the witch who places a sigil won't remember that they did, I'm thinking Billy did it to himself, to protect himself and his identity. Because we know from trailer clips that he was doing heavy research on Agatha. I think he would have known the majority of Agatha's story, before going to find her. He's shown he's pretty smart, so I think he was playing dumb the entire time; cause he has seemed to know a lot more than he let on in the episodes prior to this one. I don't think he's on the road to gain more power, because he really doesn't need it. I honestly think he's either there to find Wanda or even Tommy.

A few things I noticed is that this is the shortest episode thus far at roughly 25 mins (without the credits… which there’s a lot 😂). I also noticed that when she said he was “so much like his mother” a short remixed but noticeable version of the WandaVision outro played. The last thing which I might be reaching here but I swear it looks like he has runes on his clothes, which would in a sense always make him sort of protected from others magic…. It’s a stretch, or it could just be a call back to his mom using them to defeat Agatha 🤷🏽‍♂️

The sigil must have come off of Billy when he got fully angry at Agatha. Remember he’s been “egregiously” obsessed (paraphrasing) with her. Only with the sigil destroyed could Agatha know who he was. That could be what caused him to reflexively want to destroy them all.

Agatha figured out who he was.... That's what broke the Sigil. It was no longer needed after she knew who he was.
