To comment of the Mortis connection in Ahsoka S2, Anakin has already become the new Father. What we will hopefully see is Ahsoka fully become the new Daughter by bathing in the Pool of Knowledge, and Baylan become the new Son by drinking from the Fount of Power. We know that Ahsoka is the Avatar of the Daughter already, having been Force-resurrected using the last bit of the Daughter's life-force. This is why/how Morai followers her around both galaxies by using the WBW. But turning Baylan into the Son is the perfect way to recast the character, and in Legends it requires both the Son and Daughter to imprison Abeloth. Which is why her prison started failing during the Clone Wars when all three of the Mortis Gods died.

House of the Dragon S1 first aired on August 21, 2022. Andor S1 first aired on September 21, 2022. Thanks to the writers strike, I believe Andor benefited from the extra year of delay. While HOT D was rushed to us and would’ve benefited had it been released next year. Let’s hope Andor S2 ends well and the writers can tell their story to the fullest that House of the Dragon writers couldn’t do for their S2 thanks to not having enough of a budget and extra two episodes that would’ve given us Gullet and Fall of King’s Landing.

Even if you are sick, I'm sure we are all ok with waiting for the video on the follow-up to one of the best Star Wars projects ever released. Andor was what Star Wars so desperately needed to make its world real and tangible in a meaningful sense. Sure, evil space wizards and laser swords are cool, but without a living, breathing world to exist in those just seem like campy tropes. Andor helps contextualize the entirety of the universe which then gives meaning to the other more fantastic stories. Without consequences for real working everyday people then the stakes don't really matter in a big-picture sense. Andor was not only phenomenal, but it made the other projects better by showing the rich lives of the underclass and how the massive events between the Empire and the Resistance impacted the rest of the universe. Just an observation: When elevating Anakin to the level of the "Father" (interesting that Vader is Dutch for the English word Father. Surly this has been acknowledged), it'll make it impossible to avoid having the Skywalker's involved in the SWU in some capacity. I mean, every so often, you hear commentary that fans want to move away from the Skywalker story. But this move would weave them into the fabric of the universe. The movie looks fun. I'll be in the theatre for sure.

Andor's the "New Hope" in Star Wars. It's not just great Star Wars...it's great television. If the Emmy awards meant anything, it would have been more than just nominated for Best Series, it should have won, even over Succession (which had too many nominations).

It hits many of the greater themes I personally love to see in media like collective labor overthrowing tyranny, the cost to be paid when adhering to your beliefs, the ways in which middle management advance authoritarian rule, the prison industrial complex, and so much more. I was honestly shocked at not only all the themes the show embraced, but how they did so without being too heavy handed. It really was one of the best seasons of television I've ever seen, like 1st season of Twin Peaks level of good. Plus its is hard not to mention THE speech. Stellan Skarsgard should have gotten every award possible for his overall performance, but they should have invented a new award for monologues just for that particular performance.

Self-sacrifice for the greater good, morally corrupt characters transformed by circumstance, intelligent antagonists, vivid alien worlds, a well-crafted story, well told, fantastically filmed in places, Andor was actually 3 feature films. I could hardly find anything that was inconsistent or badly done, so many fantastic details in the respective settings, the coolness of Corouscant, gloomy and at the same time full of hope. Simply good "cinema"

Abeloth is a God tier Dark Sider and took a Full strength Luke Skywalker to defeat they didn't actually defeat her as much as trick her to fall into a black hole. I really don't want them to diminish the power of the character. so Unless this is what will make Anakin the Father or a Full strength Luke to defeat this character needs to be left alone
