About Emeroy:
Emeroy is a health coach, dancer, father and author. Growing up he struggled with two huge challenges: self confidence and being chubby. He began dancing at the age of eight.Over the years he gained confidence and found his passion of making people smile. Dancing also led him to actively pursue a healthy lifestyle. As a dancer, he started out at the age of 8 and has been teaching since 2004. He has danced with international organizations like Culture Shock, Hit The Floor Productions, GEC Entertainment, and performed for the Los Angeles Rose Parade, international artist Jonalyn Viray, and competed internationally at Hip Hop International and is a two time City of Alhambra B-boy Champion.
As a health coach, he's been coaching for several years and was featured on Time Warner's Get Fit. He's helped hundreds of individuals not only burn fat and build muscle, but also create a healthy active lifestyle so that people no longer have to yo-yo.
He's recognized for his zen style leadership. Combine that with his passionate vision of guiding others to become their best selves, gives him an authority when it comes to personal transformation. Whether it be through dance or fitness classes, he coaches individuals to gain the confidence they seek and get they results they never thought was possible.

In an interview BTS had mentioned that when they were debuting, their CEO, Bang Shi Hyuk, actually watched their dance practice videos and uses the space bar to pause every second to see their every movement, even the angles of their heads and where their eyes are... And it makes so much sense. BTS were hella sync, tight, and intense when they did choreography at the beginning.

I'm sure you already know but Jimin studied contemporary, so that's why you would always notice his extended and very clear lines. That's also the reason he prefers wearing fitted clothes, so his silhouette would be more defined. And since he was also a popper (generally studied many genres), his moves are also always sharp and powerful in addition. His dance is just *beautiful* 🤌 You were also correct about "freestyle" part. There are certain parts in most of their choreo where they can choose to move as they wish, a certain freestyled anything. But in general Jimin always adds some sprinkles of his own style in any choreography. J-Hope does that too sometimes. And yes, Hobi ALWAYS smiles and always has great energy for any performance :) Although, our main dancers (Jimin and J-Hope) were amazing as always, Jungkookie is the one who I find absolutely slaying this choreo.

I would like to point out, that they don't do a perfect pyramid blocking, because Suga and Jimin are noticably shorter than the rest. so they have to stand on a spot where they will look as if they are the same height with the others through the camera. Specially beside RM and Jin. I've noticed it a lot when they perform live and the camera shoots from above. you'll understand what I mean if you watch their dances with missing member. Like RM and Suga missing due to surgery or Jimin and JK missing due to an injury. I maybe wrong, but I did cheer dancing back in college so I have a little idea about blockings 😆

God anytime i watch dna's choreo, i'm always fascinated with j-hope. It just fits him so well: a fun beat, heavy footwork, level changes....he's just so smiley and enjoys the song and i just can't take my eyes off of him

The choreo from the part where they are in line at the end (the la la las) the dancer in the centre with the visor, j-hope (main dancer and dance captain), learnt all that choreo in 10-30 minutes (it varies depending on which member is telling the story), the others had taken 4 hours to learn it and when j-hope learnt it later (he wasn't available for the initial session where the others learnt it) they couldn't believe how quickly he learnt it.

The off-center part they do on purpose in most/all because their choreos really tell a story. The focus is not always on the center, but the focus is always on the member that is singing/telling that part of the story Edit: Because they sing live, they do try to make that singer the most stable

Can we just appreciate how hard everyone is going like they don't care where they are performing, you can clearly see the passion, determination, charisma and executions in their dance moves, the way they do their dance moves let everybody stand up and move their legs a little bit that's how you demand a dance.

Jimin was trained in Contemporary as well so he naturally has his posture and perfect dance lines in place that's why you noticed his posture (chest open) at start.
@itsMeeeeeh
@itsMeeeeeh 3 жыл бұрын
Jimin’s moves are always big and extended. I would attribute that to his contemporary dance background. Taehyung’s style and execution on the other hand are more controlled and sharp. JHope’s is very hip hop, precise but loose. There’s so much fluidity in his movements which I like as well. These four are part of the dance line and they each have their own unique style.
@salmahersi4232
@salmahersi4232 3 жыл бұрын
I think you forgot JK 😝 But in terms of jimin’s dancing - do you mean his moves are extended? I’m a dancer and his dancing seems the least exaggerated. Jhope’s dancing is a lot more wide and exaggerated, however. Jimin’s focus is more on micromovements - which is difficult to notice if you aren’t a dancer. He’s probably the sharpest dancer because of this

@@salmahersi4232 I would say jhope and jk are more sharp. Jhope is precise and technical. Jk is powerful and clean. Jimin is fluid. Jimin usually exaggerates (you're right, jhope does full extentions) moves mostly his upper body so I see why he said he always gets in trouble for being half a beat off as jhope has said many times. Just all different styles of dancing

Plus they sing AND dance :3 But I do like the way you are analysing the practice dance!

25:45 Red, black, and white! BTS often uses all white or all black outfits. (When they aren't using rainbow pastels, neon brights, colors coordinated with evergreen, denim blues, or earth tones, lol! They've done so many mvs and performances, it's impossible to generalize.) I also spy Jungkook wearing blue here, which reminds me of the flag of South Korea: red and cobalt blue yin/yang surrounded by 4 black line symbols, in the middle of a white background.

"Why so farrrr????" 1. Because there are already videos scheduled. I post K-Pop reaction videos on Monday and Wednesday only. This gives me an opportunity to share the other content i'm passionate about for this channel. 2. Releasing content like this allows me to keep the channel consistent and focus on other projects other than trying to keep a daily youtube schedule since I run two businesses. It's all a part of my quarterly releases. Which you can see here: airtable.com/shrkUSn8a34srUFLh. (Patrons get access to the master lists, and early releases) 3. Traditional studios and movies promote their content months in advance prior to the premiere to help build anticipation. The public already knows the date of when these movies are coming out. I know I'm no big-time studio, but why can't I take a similar approach to my content? Want early access to content? Become a patron! patreon.com/emeroyb
