It's just a Title John - I still say it comes down to the song. Also there are a lot of songs that were written years ago and just never made it to public attention. The songwriting / music business can be a long process. I've got a bunch of songs I've written over the years and if an artist wants to cut it I'm not going to say no we can't do that - there's already a song out with that title.

Johni43, I am sorry, but to me if someone else can redo another artist's song ... and do it very well ... then I feel it is the greatest compliment to the original singer/songwriter. I have heard remakes of originals that have been nothing but crap, however, Emerson Drive did a very good job with this one, in my honest opinion. If the song wasn't good in the first place, why on earth wouldn't anyone want to hear it updated?
