Thank you so much brother! The trick to these pickups (in my opinion) is to put them as low/away from the strings as possible. I begin with the neck, and put it as low as it’ll go into the Pickguard in barely stick out. And then I adjust the other two to make them equal output with the neck. Not only does that give the best 2/4 quack, but it really makes the EMGs sound vintage Strat. Nice to hear from you again 🙏

What a beautiful clean tone man, very crisp but not harsh in any way. For my heavy stuff I still use the good ol' cliché 81/85 combo but this video makes me consider getting the DGG20s for a Strat I have abandoned in our rehearsal space. Great demo as usual!

I was about to ask the same question. The white pearloid one that EMG provides is horrific. This one is a beaut.
