Leaked listings have shown up for G2 Road Rocket in Walmart's system. When Arcee's wheel weapon is in the open configuration on her back, she is really pulling off the Road Rocket design.

She's bloooooowsh compatible... Well sorta. If you take off the front wheel it opens a 5mm port that with a blast effect allows the backpack to become a servicable rocket pack. Having the wheel split behind the head/shoulders adds to the look.

I accidently found a neat fan mode for her while messing around with her transformation. The wheels on her legs can be folded out to give her a robot mode reminiscent of her Revenge of the Fallen movie look. The only down side is the tail pipe is angled low so it will sometimes scrape the surface.

I'm not crazy about Arcee, shes a bit fiddly and the joint that holds her wait is literally a ball-socket held in with two pegs - it has actually popped out twice on me. Bulkhead though? He is DAMN solid, great figure.

I'm not entirely sold on Arcee's look... I really loved the Prime version of the character (and a lot of that likely has to do with Sumalee Montano's acting), so it almost feels like heresy to alter her. And a lot of the accessories seem odd for the line. Her blades are obviously linked to the original's arm blades she loved using, but the gun looks peculiar as do Kickback's weird energon-y "swords". P.S. Hey 3Ps, why no MP scale Prime characters yet? I would (almost literally) kill for a good MP Prime Arcee.

I love the character too - in fact she's my favorite in the franchise. And yeah, Sumalee Montano did a fantastic job bringing her to life - she's an extremely talent VO actor (and also an all-around awesome human being). Is this figure my ideal representation of TFP Arcee? No. But it's a cool toy nonetheless. The accessories do kind of bother me though - especially the arm blades. Her arm blades on the show and some of the figures have such a cool, badass design, and these blue transparent ones looks cheap and unworthy of ANY TFP Arcee toy. I'll be waiting on a 3P to give us some proper arm blades and guns for her.

So I've transformed her back slightly different. I have flipped the bike front 180degrees, opened the "wings". And found there is a 5mm port in the back of her Neck, split open the front wheel and plugged it in there. So now she has a much smaller backpack, her classic wings and shoulder paldrons, that still come out easy for her weapon.

Honestly I have to agree with your final conclusions, I recently got the figure myself and I feel that people are holding too high of a bar for her. Reimaginations are interesting, I like the blend. My main gripe is how the wheels split but I do enjoy her.

When they announced "Legacy" I immediately thought awesome, this line is going to focus on updating old figures to be more accurate to the show kind of like what Kingdom did. Then I heard Prime Arcee was going to be part of the first wave. I love the Prime series and Arcee was one of my faves from the show so I was pretty excited.... ..... aaaaand this is what they come up with... WTH... Like why only make other characters look more accurate to their shows, but not everyone else?

Legacy's design philosophy does seem to be that if a character is not 80's or Beast Era originated, they usually tend to have updated designs by default so they won't look too out of place with other "Neo G1" style figures. This seems to have touched a nerve with some Transformers: Prime fans. I can understand it being polarizing (and I admit, it's not ideal), but personally, after giving this some thought for the past few months after having preordered the figure, I'm just about fine with how Arcee was handled here. The transformation engineering at least looks fun. The mould, due to the neutral aesthetic that isn't super Prime Arcee specific, lends itself to a lot of redeco potential. The front tire placement on the back of the figure around 6:08 seems to strongly hint towards a G2 Road Rocket redeco/head retool, while people really want a Flamewar redeco out of the mould. And that's about the mould's strongest aspect. But I'm keen to handle the Arcee usage of the mould first to see if I'm willing to double dip. Not much else to say, but I'm curious to see how Unicron Trilogy characters are handled in this style since Thrilling 30 briefly touched upon it with Armada Starscream (setting a predicament in my opinion), and furthermore Legacy Cybertron Metroplex was leaked as the next titan in line for 2022 and looks a lot like the original Cybertron toy.

If her legs pop off from the knee down you’ve got to be certain you clip them back on completely or the whole transformation is off by an imperceptible measurement and she won’t transform correctly.

It feels like Legacy Arcee is actually a Pre-tool for the two exclusives and they explained the part of giving her a nose being a Generations-styled as an excuse. Fact is, her head sculpt suits Flamewar a lot better, what with having a nose, and the accessories seem to be more for Road Rocket. Sure, the two Energon Blades going on her arms to represent the blades she had in the Prime series is quite good, but putting them together you can see the molded Shuriken shape, which is appropriate for Road Rockets current Ninja bio, plus the front wheel separating and being able to attach to the back evokes the Road Rocket of old design. As far as the front piece of the motorcycle being able to detach, I feel it was planned that different characters would Transform into different looking motorcycles, at least Road Rocket and Arcee being different, but guessing they decided not to go through with that.

Now with this one. I really do dig her! She's absolutely not close to the 1st edition at all, but isn't trying to be, so it's fine. I've never been one to give to much of a crap about parts forming, so when I discovered just how much of that kibble can be removed, I was all for it. You can very easily streamline her, to the point where there is barely ANY kibble. I remove the front of the bike and the front wheel "or I split it above her shoulders occasionally". I remove the leg wheels, which seem to me, to be designed to remove. I remove the kickstand. Then I orient the handlebar section snug against the back. They barely peek out over the shoulders, which is a good look. Yeah, I know, I know, and don't care! I throw that stuff in my toolbox deal I keep that stuff in. This'll trigger someone, so please save the tears for me would you? I throw all that in there, along with ER Prime's front wheels, Apefaces cockpit/MONKEY head, the front wheels from ER Magnus, Scourge's rectangle flaps, and engine pods, and a bunch of other crap I take off to improve robot modes, but of course in such a way, as to be easily added back when I wanna transform them. I also keep that box close by, and very organized. By organized I mean, blooshes in the lid compartments, bot parts in the tray, weapons in the left side, and all the extra "we throw this crap in to charge more, and make you keep up with crap" stuff on the other side lol. Oh, and my extra logo stickers for 3p's, KO's and space jam removal from siege figures lol.

I recently got this figure and have had the same issue with the windscreen section falling off constantly. I just remove it for transformation. The one tab/slot connection doesn't hold firmly enough to be handled. Heck, it even falls off just trying to pose her. Otherwise, it's a nice figure. Obviously and unfortunately, there is no way to make a motorcycle figure to scale with other figures in vehicle mode. She does look quite nice alongside them in robot mode though.

my only real complaint with it is the torso with the proportions it looks kinda masculine but i understand the transformation made it difficult to work in something more like the torso of siege chromia in overall shape but still kind of annoying and i'll probably skip unless it's on a clearance sale for half-off

like with bulkhead, I feel like that "prime" is a misnomer; for bulkhead, it was a mix of G1 style, prime and animated, for arcee, she's more in line for that cameo in RID, and the whole proportion reminds me of the Energon counterpart. even dicounting the future amount of inveitable repaint, I feel tey made some cession in the mold that are a bit eccesive for what it is. is not bad, is just not the prime arcee
