the fact that my parents bought all of those bootlegs including a Starscream on one of my birthdays kinda makes me happy and sad at the same time Edit: i eventually lost all of them except the bumblebee and it became my favorite one out of all of them until i lost it too fast forward to the present day and here i am still looking for the bumblebee but the good news is that i found Starscream that still wasnt broken and Blackout which was unfortunately broken including Ratchet who was missing two arms and i eventually found one arm but lost the body and Barricade who lost most of his parts i dont really remember which parts he lost and thats basically it and i only found one arm of the Optimus Prime while looking though some old lego boxes a long time ago.

Also i have that bootle barricade but the color is just all wrong and it has a very cheap plastic. Still keep it to this day because its my childhood toy

Dude.... I had that same exact Ratchet bootleg. Sadly because of how cheap he was made, his leg broke off, his left wheel came off his entire torso disconnected, and now, he sits lonely on my shelf, broken, waiting for the rest of my TF figures to arrive. Update: after i finally got my Optimus figure, ive somehow managed to find the rest of Ratchet's pieces and somewhat put him back together, sadly he wont be able to transform anymore since he will just crumble apart. Luckily i still remember the shop where i got him and remembered they are also selling Jazz there, might pick him up too since he's dirt cheap. ($2.85)

On the Jazz, you have to pull the arms out all the way so the stomach section has clearance to move into the vehicle mode position (I had the ROTF Runamuck repaint as a kid and I fucking loved that thing for some reason, probably because the multipack I got it in as a kid I picked up in the middle of a blizzard at my local Target with like four feet of snow).

When I was a kid, my dad bought me a bootleg Transformers set that came with 4 2007 movie Legends-class bots, and 2 Universe Legends-class bots. All of them oversized as fuck, like double the Legends-class size. I believe they were: Ironhide, Brawl, Optimus, Bonecrusher, Evac (Universe) and Hotshot or Sparkplug (Universe). While all of them did transforms, they all had wacky-ass colors. Bonecrusher was green with silver tribal tattoos on his legs (???), Optimus had an inverted color scheme, Brawl was as yellow as fucking yellowcake, Ironhide was completely black, they didn't even paint the windshield, Evac was blue with green and Hotshot/Sparkplug was piss yellow. Wow.

I actually kinda like bootleg knockoff figures you get in cheap stores. You obviously don’t like them when you’re a kid because you want the legit thing, but as you get older you kinda appreciate it a bit more I feel. Imo bootleg knockoff figures are one of the most underrated things, decent bootlegs that is. I just find it creative and charming in a way.

Duudeeee my bootlegs transformers just arrived AHAHAHAHA so yeah the vehicles mode of Optimus, Jazz and Ratchet were fine but considered the size of optimus was kinda small than bumblebee, ratchet and jazz and I have problems with bumblebee's legs they're kinda loose same as ratchet's left arm but gonna try fix it. As for Bumblebee's vehicle mode kinda sucked for me.
