I think they should have done what Hasbro did for the combiner mode with Megatron and then made this guy heavier . I actually like the Hasbro more I think the mini tidalwave for combine mode was brilliant and fixes the issue of weight and bulk

I have been waiting for your review on Tsunami. I plan on this being my final main figure Armada pickup from Fans Hobby to complete Ultra Megatron. I have Jet Optimus and Overload already and will eventually pick up the 3 legendary weapons to complete the third party Armada collection. Your takeaway is kind of unfortunate to hear but respectfully it's your opinion. I also have Galva Tyranno instead of Meg Tyranno because I like his colors more.

It's very sad that the original version of Armada Tidal Wave didn't actually combine with Megatron (hence the toys!) Bc that would've been so PAWSOME to see, but yet all we've been getting was Jet Optimus for this particular 1st Part of the entire 3 parter of (The Unicron Trilogy!!) Although it would've been a great change if Hasbro/HasLabs were to do something about this during the early 2000s!! But yet that type of technology wasn't available yet, so how was it capable for Jetfire and Optimus (hence again those two PAWSOME Action Figures to Combine into one to form Jet Optimus??) Why couldn't Hasbro find someway to do this exact same (similar idea with Megatron and Tidal Wave (The Nemesis Fleet?) is beyond me and towards all those Transformers Fans!! I mean I've seen people here on KZbinLand who have tried to customize their own original 2000s Armada Figare of TidalWave and try to Link him up with the original 2000s Armada Leader Class Megatron, and the end results are pretty convincing!! Yet this convincing idea looks so weird and wrong that I'm sure All these Random 3rd party companies decided to finally step in and make it better and easier for us Transformers Fans!! That's how I'm imagining this and how they got everything to work out perfectly!! Even the Transformers Legacy Megatron/Galvatron With Titan Class TidalWave looks extremely convincing enough for any Transformers Collection!! So yeah, if I were to buy all these awesome figures then I'd say!! GREEN MEANS GOOOOOOOO FOR IT!! And let your childbrain be unleashed, and you'll have all the fun in your past tense world!! Bc like what Emgo says at the end of his videos and I quote "You don't grow old bc you stop playing, you stop playing bc you grow old!" And no I don't believe that saying at all!! Everyone should have the rights to do anything they want!! Weather they're like 3 years of age or even 100 years of age!! Bc it doesn't matter how old you can get!! The point is that you can always spend time with your friends, family and your children!! Bc you've got a great future to write!! And like what Emmitt Brown said on Back To The Future pt 3 "You're Future Is Whatever You Make It; To Make It A Good One!! Both of you!! And for everyone across the world!!" Those are the famous words from Christopher Lloyd!! And he has taught me so many great things during my life!! So again!! The magnet is in the chest of both minicons. I don't own the figure but peaugh seemed to have had the same issue so I assume FH just doesn't say so in the instructions.

The very first time I saw tidal wave on the tv show I was like wow that guy is going to be a big bad definitely just the size of him on the tv screen was like 🤯 and when he transformed that was awesome i remember getting it at Walmart before I went to a Christmas gathering I was so happy with a stupid smile on my face like I just won the lottery lol unfortunately in time things don’t stay as durable as they were and I had to get rid of it I never really got a new one I don’t even have the new one from hasbro it looks awesome but the fans hobby version was designed too fast and in my opinion it was sent out too fast because it has issues in my opinion a good try but not up to par with the others like the black power baser absolutely beautiful

Got to say, the hasbro version is not bad, not bad at all, its big, oomphy and the colours are ominous and imposing. But the Lines on the Tsunami, the proportions, they diverge from the cartoon but they do it in a way that makes for a cleaner combined mode, the way the fet and the side chest pieces line up just looks good. Likewise how they made the lower legs able to separate to become feet for the fusion mode with megatron? Now that's briliant, weight down them feeties to make it more stable and gives megatron some needed height so he doesnt look quite so much like a lil guy waddling along with tiny feet. I'd say the Tsunami looks like the "anime" version, it's more sleek and looks more agile for the inevitable power rangers style fighting they tend to have while the hasbro version has more of the western bulk and blocky lines. Both are great though, just different aesthetics

I so agree with you. Hasbro's one wins. The 3rd party one looks way to thing, to me anyways. Plus his head looks a bit to small for the body. I don't think it's the worst 3rd party figure, but it's just meh. To me anyways.

​@Godzilla5675 well it has a flight deck down the mid, it has 2 giant propulsion cells on each side with a gap in between and the central superstructure looks armed to the spark. It looks like duck and shoots like duck. Even tho it's clearly not an alicorn it still holds some visual similarities to it. Separated yeah it just looks like an odd battle group at sea

Strange that this Fans Hobby Tidalwave is almost as much as the Legacy version. Some fun gimmicks but I'd still go with the Legacy version if I wanted a big Tidal Wave (although I would prefer a much smaller version of Tidalwave).

Do you think you're going to be able to get ahold of and review the mecha Invasion giant Legion Devastator. It looks like one of the best Devastators we've gotten so far and is a solid replacement for the jinbao Devastator with a unique take on the combiner that requires no parts-forming. Also Zeta toys AKA Studio 01 who made that Unicron figure is doing their own Devastator that looks insane and huge

Fans Hobby went from making my favorite 3rd party figures to making these Fisher Price KO's lol. The decline in quality has not gone unnoticed. Jetfire, X Load and now FH Tsunami have all dropped in quality. Each one has gotten lighter and more flimsy with each release.

I stay annoyed I can't find the box with my original Armada Tidal Wave. A certain someone put the box somewhere and I can't find it. I really like all the functions of that version. I want to get the Fans Hobby Armada stuff but maybe some day. I want the titan class too. The launch feature is a great idea for that toy. The original didn't have that. Go home Megs....you're drunk on energon. Problematic? Just yank harder.
